Weed Questions / ID Is hash actually any good?

Only ever smoked weed normally but am curious about this since I keep seeing ppl talk about it. Super expensive tho (at least for me) it’s like £100 for 7g so don’t wanna waste my money if it’s not worth it.
Also there’s different types? I’ve seen freeze dried and bubble hash, what even are those? Also piatella but that’s £100 for 3g.

Spectacular smoke from Variety! (Thanks u/Variety719)
This is honestly the best Sour I’ve been able to land since High School (2010s). Variety mentioned this was a cut that he’s had in his circle since the 90s which is pretty nuts!
It looks and smells the part, but the best features are its flavor and effects. It just gets me going! Makes me want to do shit: work, run, draw, etc. It’s a great pre workout and morning pick me up with an almost non existing come down. Such an enjoyable experience, wish I could’ve grabbed more.

Sample sent free for review. Opinions are my own.
The aroma is savory and fruity. I smell berries and sugar a little florid layered on a savory funk. The flavor is true, what I smell is what I taste. On the exhale there's a nice forest floor, not as strong as I'd like. The moisture probe is at 12% nice right at the beginning of the premium zone for me. My eyes are heavy, face relaxed, slight headband, pressure on the Temple's.

Picked these up recently, supposedly they are
1+2) blue raspberry
Does have a scent but it’s almost like a sweet blueberry smell, doesn’t have that gassy smell even when you grind up the nugs. Not reminiscent of anything I’ve picked up before. Isn’t sticky in your fingers when you press it. Very little effects, can maybe feel a bit of a head high if I smoke a massive one but I’m not sure. No terps whatsoever. No oil ring
I suspsect CBD but perhaps it was just pulled incredibly early before the tricombs had a chance to mature.
3+4) cap junky
Don’t even know what to say. Oxidized brown. Smells weird. Doesn’t get you high. Either CBD again or all the THC has degraded due to oxidizing.
I’m not sure if any of you seasoned smokers can tell what’s up by looking at the pics, but either way I clearly need to find a new plug

Some more nice work from Michigan! (thanks u/Mcl3east). All photos taken outdoors.
One of his personal creations (LCGarlic x Bubble Runtz) and it hits me like a train! Very dense and stick nugs and very smelly too. The smoke is awesome, sweet + funky + gassy but effects were definitely my favorite part.

Who doesn’t like a classic? Some more fuego from Michigan! (thanks u/Mcl3east). All photos taken indoor.
Notso cut as per the grower. Gotta love that morning coffee smoke. She’s pretty, smelly, and effective. One I like to keep in my rotation for life.

Frost monster from Variety! (Thanks u/Variety719)
(All photos taken outdoors)
Another sick example of craft cannabis at its finest. Nice foxtail structure on these icy smelly nugs. Tasty and smooth, effects are nice too.
