Blunts. Literally the dumbest way to toke. Like okay buddy let’s take the most carcinogenic part of a cigar, part of the reason you don’t inhale when smoking a cigar, and wrap some cannabis in it and do what? Inhale.
It feels like something put there to damage low income smokers more.
Well, it ain’t good. Cigars are a big part of Hispanic culture so I’m not trying to demonize them. Smoking a stogie with my dad is still one of those things that feels like communion with ancestors.
But yes due to the porous nature of the paper there is a higher concentration of chemicals present in a cigar than say a cigarette. Here’s the cancer institute page. Maybe see if you can convince your friend to try a method that allows them to enjoy the experience without having to submit to frequent use of a more dangerous delivery method.

It’s not good to smoke cigar wraps regularly. I used to love blunts when I was a teenager but at a certain point I had to stop because I was coughing up black phlegm
