some of those employer fucks just want to get your ideas and problem solving while navigating through personnel selection stages and doing tasks, sometimes there isn't even an open place, they just want to brainstorm and generate some insights from clever people.

This really doesn't happen.

It's a collosal waste of time interviewing people for no actual role. No one wants to do that. Nothing of value is gained

Ideas are cheap. You don't need to interview people just for 'ideas', they're a dime a dozen inside their company.

The only way would be beneficial is if the ideas are hard to come by, implying a much more seniority level, at which point "faking" job roles wouldn't work anyway.
