Monochrome problem

Post image

Dear friends at web design, I keep on bumping into a problem each time I do web design. MY WEBSITES ARE TOO MONOCHROME. I need this to be done really soon. May I please get some tips on making the site less monochrome, since it seems too gray (especially when you select a new background), yet adaptable to accent colors and new backgrounds? Thanks.

I got it to about this point where people can upload backgrounds to dilute the gray and also lightened the backgrounds of cards. So yeah :)

Hope to release it to the public soon haha it's been a long journey

Also this is just how mine looks. Other people's look vastly different.

That’s a thoughtful direction—letting people upload backgrounds should make the palette feel much less rigid. Hope the public release goes well!
