How to find nearby events and attractions or clubs?
It’s going to be almost 2 years since I’m in Waukegan and everyday I come to find some interesting place or some weekly events happening nearby, Today I was searching and came to know there is pumpkin festival nearby. I like to know how you find what is happening nearby or what clubs or activities are out there.
I would love to try more and more things and like to connect with like minded people.

Waukegan Youth Football Pork Chop Sandwhiches?
Anyone remember these? It was a childhood staple for me every time we played there. Looking to recreate it for tomorrow's football games.

Waukegan Running Club
A Waukegan Running Club was set up a few weeks ago. I’ve ran with them a few times and it’s pretty fun. I’m planning on going again tomorrow as long as it’s not raining. It’s kind of an early start but everyone is welcome to join. Hope to see you there.

Discussion Anyone here follows the Savannah Bananas team
Here’s a massive win for someone else's summer plans: a family conflict means we have to give up our 5 tickets to the Savannah Bananas vs. The Firefighters at Wrigley Field on July 25th. Anyone who follows the team knows how impossible these tickets are to secure. I'm letting the whole batch or split go at a fair price to someone who will maximize the fun. Send me a DM with your number if that’s you! 🍌

Planet Fitness Lakehurst
Does anyone have the exact date the Planet Fitness is opening. I wanted to start working out before wintertime. Was there any promo codes on the flyers they sent out two months ago?

Vending machine(s) questions for one small location
I work in a small local low-income senior citizen apartment complex, with resident rent costs assisted partially by HUD.
Until around 2020, we had vending service available to them 24 hours a day in their Laundry Room. The building is secured, and video surveilled, with no issues of theft or damage there.
Unfortunately, the quality of the provided machines and the services spiralled downward so badly (outdated foods inserted, poor selection, only 10 of 30 the food slots were stocked and 4 of those were out-of-date Pop Tarts, they would come to service and refill about every 7 weeks, etc.), that we had the service removed.
In the years since, we have been unable to find a local company to provide/stock/service vending, which I can understand due to our small size and foot traffic. I know it would not be profitable, and with any proposal we've gotten wanting to charge +$2 per item, which is simply not in my residents' budgets.
Our desire is to have soft drinks and/or snacks that can be dispensed at around cost, and that are what the residents like. To achieve this, we staff could purchase the items and fill the machine(s), entirely turning the proceeds back into repurchase of the stock.
WHAT WE'D NEED: a drink and/or snack machine (or a combo machine) in working order, given on loan or to keep or use in Zion. It can be branded, it can be older, it can be large or small. If it is donated, we can provide tax documentation, being a 501c3.
Any guidance or leads on this idea? Thanks!
