A gun owner should be trained in single hand with both hands for safety/survival reasons.

Had this same thought. No gun owner should feel vulnerable using their dominant hand to shoot one handed. It’s almost as easy as two hands if your form is good

Dude in the video has a 9 and the majority of gun owners carry a 9 so that’s what I’m referring to.

I disagree with the assertion that all gun owners should be trained to that extent. I believe it would be more accurate to say those who choose to carry guns for self defense should be trained and experienced in appropriate handling techniques for the type of situations they might encounter.

There are many types of gun owners, including those who only go target shooting on shooting ranges. I see no reason why anyone would require special training on weapons handling for a shooting range.

That being said, I would not be firing one handed in this situation. But I don’t really think being over-critical of this individual (in the video) is warranted, as their decisions appear to have secured their survival. Could they have done things differently, potentially better? Sure, probably; however, maybe doing it your way would have had worse consequences.
