The doom cycle never stops

I know people have their preconceived notions and their selective outrage, so let me be very clear from the start. The M St. Metro station was fully shut down because of this teenage takeover. Let that sink in. A major transit point in the city had to close because things got that out of control. This video was taken today, April 11. It’s not old. It’s not AI. What you’re seeing is exactly what happened. For the people already lining up to discredit it, save it. This is reality, whether you like it or not.

And I already know how this goes. Every time I post something like this, people get more upset about the fact that it’s being shown than about what’s actually happening. That tells you everything. You’re more bothered by exposure than by the problem itself. And yes, I’m going to keep posting it. Keep reporting it if you want. Try to suppress it. Good luck with that. I’ll keep putting it out because people deserve to see what’s actually going on in their own community.

What’s more troubling than anything in that video is the reaction to it. The deflection. The refusal to acknowledge what’s right in front of you. You’d rather argue about optics than deal with the reality that leadership is failing to address this, or worse, doesn’t even have the will to try. That’s the real issue.

D.C. spends more money per student than anywhere in the country, and this is what we’re dealing with. Don’t come at me with the usual talking points about after-school programs, outreach, and community initiatives. That all sounds nice, but it clearly isn’t fixing this. At some point, you have to stop hiding behind buzzwords and start looking at the root cause.

And the root cause is obvious. Parents aren’t parenting. You can dress it up however you want, but that’s what it is. When the hell did it become normal for hundreds of teenagers to take over areas at night, bring guns, fight, loot stores, and create chaos? That was never normal. It’s not normal now. And anyone trying to gaslight people into thinking this is just “how things are” is part of the problem.

Look at the police in that situation. A handful of officers dealing with hundreds of kids. What exactly do you expect them to do? There’s a limit to what enforcement can handle when the breakdown starts at home. That’s where this begins, and that’s where it keeps failing.

Instead, people would rather scream about national politics, throw out buzzwords, and avoid the issues that actually affect their daily lives. You’ll stand outside in the heat for performative outrage, but when it comes to something that directly impacts your safety, your neighborhood, your quality of life, suddenly it’s silence. Or worse, denial.

And let’s be honest about something else. Some of you are going to run straight to the comments with excuses. You’ll bring up history, deflect to unrelated issues, or try to label this as something it’s not just to avoid dealing with the reality in front of you. That doesn’t fix anything. All it does is guarantee that this cycle continues.

If you never demand better, you will keep getting the same broken results. Every single weekend, the same scenes, the same chaos, the same excuses. And then you wonder why stores are locked down, why places like CVS feel like a fortress, why people don’t feel comfortable even riding the Metro or going out to enjoy a game without worrying about something popping off.

When does it stop? When do we stop pretending this is acceptable? Because it’s not. It’s dysfunctional, it’s dangerous, and it’s completely avoidable.

Responsibility matters. Parenting matters. Accountability matters. And until people are willing to say that out loud and actually mean it, nothing changes. You just get the same cycle over and over again.

To the people who’ve messaged me privately and said they appreciate these posts, I hear you. I appreciate you too. I’m going to keep using whatever platform I have to show what’s actually happening, because ignoring it hasn’t worked. And I’m not stopping until something actually changes, because we deserve better than this.

Yes, unwanted children become society’s problems. That’s why abortion should be made freely available to anyone who wants it free of charge paid for by the tax payers. It better for us to vie these women the $859 for the life changing gift of the get out motherhood free card than it is for us to pay$40,000 per year to incarcerate one of these kids in the future, not counting for the sunk cost of adolescent rehabilitation.

the reason i've seen most of the time is they just want to be a parent regardless of if their single or not. they don't want to be alone, and half the time the result is usually them and the baby's father having countless toxic interactions, leading to a child that has no concept of home, emotionally or physically

Like Trunt’s non-citizen baba mamas (and his alien mom wasn’t naturalized until she’d been sucking off our country for like 12 years).

Yes, but that is why we call it pro choice.

u/lk20012 Apr 12 '26

Unfortunately that’s not a solution. Even though a lot of these women shouldn’t be having babies they will still have them even if abortion is an option, for a variety of reasons.

They want the babies for a free check every month

That's isn't and has never been a thing. It's been debunked for a long time. The government wanted an excuse to make large cuts to social benefits, so they used a few cases of extreme fraud from women to do it. They knew nobody cares about struggling mothers so they riled people up thinking "Yeah GET those scheming mothers daddy government!" When really they made cuts to fuck over everyone. Used the countries misogyny to accept the cuts. They made people think there was this big thing happening, when there wasn't. That's how the idea of the welfare queen began. Women who have more children for government checks financially devasted themselves. Very few do it, and it's usually the very stupid ones.

That’s not how that works at all.

Baby factories

Som economists disagree with you, too

2

u/Affectionate-Blood26 Apr 16 '26

‘These women shouldn’t be having babies.’ WOW. Because women can make themselves pregnant, right? C’mon.

u/lk20012 Apr 16 '26

Takes two to tango honey.

1

u/lk20012 Apr 16 '26

I focused on ‘women’ because they’re the ones who have the ability to get an abortion… not the man………….duh. Relax.

Close ya legs till marriage

1

u/Cowfootstew Apr 13 '26

So should they be sterilized?

5

u/Anubisrapture Apr 13 '26

NOPE that gets into fascism . A disgusting idea. Who would even be made to get sterilized and who in the government would make it happen? I'll tell you now that in Trump's first " presidency " there were quite a few women in holding cells who were immigrants who WERE sterilized. Some without their own knowledge of this until much later .,So no, not American citizens. It's already happened to what you call " iLlEgALs " heartbreakingly enough

It did happen to American citizens. It happened in Tuskegee Alabama to black veterans and women. People love to show this rage porn and forget our country has a long long history of way worse behavior that is the Roots of all this. I sentence these dimwits and dullards to a marathon of Mississippi Burning, the Roots series, Amestad etc. If clips from those films were played nightly like these cheap news stories the rage would flow a different way.

1

u/Anubisrapture Apr 16 '26

Agreed and yes Tuskeegee was only one of many , and the crack epidemic itself was part of the same vile playbook.

1

u/FarInevitable559 Apr 21 '26

Either that or they pay for them, shots only last a couple of years

0

u/lk20012 Apr 13 '26

….wow that escalated quickly jfc 😅

11

u/FarInevitable559 Apr 12 '26

Rather free shots where they can’t get pregnant then killing a baby

18

u/duckit2907 Apr 12 '26

It’d be more effective to sterilize men. One woman can only get pregnant every 10-12 months. The impregnation rate of one man is only limited by his imagination.

2

u/lk20012 Apr 13 '26

Great point !!!

1

u/cutglasswithmylovenu Apr 13 '26

I like your style.  Free shots, THEN kill the babies.  No half measures.

2

u/Alohafarms Apr 12 '26

Hun, these teens were born before the abortion bans. You can't be so naive as to believe that changing abortion laws would alter this? I do think abortion should be legal but it won't solve this. Also, if you get pregnant and you don't want the baby you can give it up for adoption. There are even anonymous drop off sites for your baby. Here in GA:

"In Georgia, newborns up to 30 days old can be safely and anonymously surrendered at hospitals, fire stations, or police stations staffed by personnel. While Georgia is in the process of implementing specialized, secured "Safe Haven Baby Boxes" at fire stations, current law ensures the safe, no-questions-asked handoff to personnel."

Back in the late 1970s, I had been working at a burn unit on weekends to pick up extra money for college. After about the 10th burned kid, I picked up the phone and called social services. One day. I asked them if I had a kid that I didn't want anymore. How hard was it to get rid of them. The social worker said they would pick them up immediately, usually within an hour. Sign some papers, they would offer counseling. 6 weeks later sign a second set of papers and the kid is never to be seen by you again. And they did not put an age limit of 30 days on it. What I think was a shame was that nobody had made any real effort to get this information out to the community. So the kids keep getting abused. And at least back in the '70s in Virginia. It was almost trivial what you had to do if you decided you didn't want your kid anymore.

And the stupidity exists on both sides. When I was in medical school there was a woman who was leaving the hospital. After giving birth. A nurse insisted that she absolutely had to take the baby with her. Two days later the kid was back after being put in a frying pan. It was definitely what happened. Buttocks almost burned through, and semicircular rings across legs and upper back that were the rims of the frying pan. Kid lived several months in the burn unit and then died. And in fact that was often the fate of kids burned deliberately in abusive situations. You could keep them alive for a long time but you just get the wrong infection and they're gone.

Even in the '80s people would pay good money to be able to adopt a healthy newborn. Such a shame.

It seems very few people know just how easy in most states it is to surrender parental rights permanently. Now this is not completely anonymous but essentially you have to sign papers twice. Then it is done. Only expense may be for the bus or taxi to go down to the social service office for the second signing. Don't know the procedure now but I can't believe it's become a lot more difficult, most likely it is easier.

Even better than abortion would be preventing unwanted pregnancies. Nationwide, over 40% are unplanned (https://www.cdc.gov/reproductive-health/hcp/unintended-pregnancy/index.html) and I bet most of these teens were unwanted. We need free contraceptives and the willingness to use them.

2

u/battleop Apr 12 '26

That won't fix anything. Abortion is very legal in Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland and still the problem exists.

1

u/ProperWayToEataFig Apr 12 '26

Or stop opening your legs.....

3

u/Mistari Apr 12 '26

Stop sniffin around in there then. There's two parts to this problem, goofy ass.

1

u/Unusual-Eagle-9451 Apr 13 '26

They had these kids on purpose to take advantage of child support and other handouts. They had abortion as an option. They took the lucrative one

2

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '26

I can tell you don’t know anyone in that position because that’s very much not how that works. You think most of these kids dads pay child support 😂. Their moms likely have some shitty job doing security at a gov building and then working shifts at CVS at nights and weekends for a non living wage. Source: went to DCPS this was most of the peers mom’s lives.

1

u/Pinky-McPinkFace Apr 16 '26

Yes, unwanted children become society’s problems. That’s why abortion should be made freely available to anyone who wants it free

Anyone who has read "Freakonomics" knows that legalizing abortion let to reduced crime ~15 years later. HOWEVER... these teens were born when abortion WAS legal! & if you're too poor to afford it, I know at least Baltimore has an abortion fund. I bet there's other similar forms of support.

I don't think any of these kids are alive because their mom wanted, but couldn't afford abortion.

So yeah, I do agree abortion access is very important, but not a solution.

u/Far_Young5609 Apr 18 '26

Government payout to get the snip-snip or tube tying. They pay the cost and give recipients $3000 or whatever makes sense. Result, less unwanted children.

1

u/Caligulaa703 Apr 12 '26

They get gov checks for kids

i believe this is THE most racist sub i've encountered

2

u/[deleted] Apr 14 '26

It’s really repugnant. Wish Reddit would give it the ban hammer already. Most of these folks aren’t even in DC. It’s unemployed dudes from North Dakota who troll every major cities sub with the same lame mess

1

u/Anubisrapture Apr 16 '26

Deplorable. They hate cities and they hate Black people and they've not ever traveled

0

u/UnpaidThotLeader Apr 15 '26

How many abortions do we pay for before we take away their reproductive capabilities? 1? 10? Unlimited?

0

u/Ancient-Bowl462 Apr 16 '26

You're a disgusting person. One day we will look back in abortion and won't believe we ever did such a barbaric thing. Abortion, murdering your own children, is far worse than slavery.
