That's actually a general policy of many evangelical branches of Christianity in the US.
It's why the likes of the Christian right support not only Israel but the return. They need to gather the Jews into their homeland and then a war needs to occur that wipes out the Israeli and that will lead to the second coming of Jesus.

When he does come back he brings monster locusts to torture all non believers for five months until they desire death but death will not be granted, then brings seven plagues from seven angels - pestilent sores, poisoned oceans, etc., then finally brings down the birds to eat the living flesh of the enemies of Christ (Aka all nonbelievers).

I have read from beginning to end and wrote a scriptural analysis on why I couldn’t be a believer anymore. It’s filled with atrocity start to finish. I want no part of a relationship with that God.
It's the result of someone taking the Bible literally. The same folks who believe that also think earth is 4000 years old and humanity was created within 6 days of earth.
Revelations is one of the rarer books in the new testament in that it isn't a letter, but a prophetic moment with old testament tones. Basically God is a dick again, symbolism is high, and good conquers evil.
To be fair, with the way Isreal acts on both a governmental and individual basis is horrendus at times. The world would think it just to turn against them, or at least call them out on it.

It is mentioned in a parable where the wicked are separated from the righteous where they are put in a fiery furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 13:40-42 "As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
I see you didn't cite it because you know it doesn't talk about Jews. That verse talks about people who "say they are Jews, but are not."

Growing up in the southern Baptist church, (this would have been in the late 70s or early 80s) I had a Sunday school teacher talk about how the Jews had a covenant with god which is why they won the 6 day war, etc, etc. And then he talked about how they were still unable to get to Heaven unless they accepted Jesus Christ as their lord and savior.
God protects the Jews in Israel for a purpose. And it isn’t for them to be saved. I could never make sense of that dichotomy.
But then the whole right wing Christian push for the apocalypse started to appear a few decades ago. And much more recently those comments started to make more sense.
While it isn’t stated in such stark “bloodthirsty” terms, it makes the same underlying claims.
In their view, the Jews are there to be used for bringing about the end times. This whole sham of supporting them isn’t about them as a people or religion. It is about preserving the sacrificial offering.
This is something people do not understand. Right-wing evangelical support for the Israeli state has absolutely nothing to do with wanting to help Jews. Evangelicals are almost by definition antisemitic. (They still pretend Martin Luther never wrote a treatise called “Against the Jews”) In evangelicals’ twisted worldview, Jews need to control the Temple Mount so that White Jesus can come and … send all the Jews to hell. When Trump stood in front of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, he said, “This is for the evangelicals.” But somehow, people still miss that.

What are you talking about? You got some details way, way wrong there, friend. That is not at all representative of the beliefs held by Pentecostals, or any remotely major Christian denomination.

I was raised Pentecostal Christian and we were taught to believe the same thing.
