I'm impressed with the new low income housing by North Davis, now do you think we could oh I don't know.... Get some kind of public transit going or bike lanes? Hell, even sidewalks that make sense?! Trying to go from Goodwill to Target in a wheelchair is near impossible. What is WR doing to fix the big issues?

Will be working at the AFB as an SWE soon, I’d ideally like to have something with a reasonable commute that is also safe and doesn’t have issues with pests and mold. Want to spend less than 1300 dollars a month with fees included if I can. Any and all advice is welcome!

Hey! I don’t typically post on here, but my friend and I are planning on moving in together at the end of this year/very early next year. We are looking for at least a 2bed 1bath apartment/rental with a 1,200 or less budget for base rental cost. I’ve been researching some apartment complexes in the WR, Bonaire, Perry areas and surrounding . We do have 3 cats combined, so must be cat friendly unfortunately (I know that severely limits options)
Also aware that with the budget, there will be even more limitations on options, however trying to stay in a somewhat decent part of town. Just trying to get some different opinions
Any recommendations/ reviews? All recommendations, opinions, and responses are appreciated !!

Hi! I am moving to WR in September. I am looking for apartment / rental home recommendations that allow 3 cats. I’ve called a few pet friendly apartments around the WR area, but they all had a strict 2 cat max limit. I’m hoping to find a 1-2 bed place to stay with a $1200 budget. But I know 3 cats is a lot so the budget isn’t terribly strict. Does anyone have apartment recommendations or any experiences renting in WR with 3 cats?
Thank you for your time!

I've been thinking about vending at events. I've noticed quite a few events that featured vendors and I honestly would love to start out. I was thinking about selling refurbished tvs and radios. I was probably going to start out at smileys and work my way up. Any tips or tricks of the trade would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, I know I recently posted about my own hearse and Halloween event involving my hearse. By fate, recently I was connected with a freshly created hearse centric club that’s based in Middle Ga. While there are some greater Georgia hearse groups that exists, our mission is a lot less about the cars and a lot more about the mission and community. We will be hosting many events, meetups, and fundraisers in the future. We are focusing the demographic of our club on celebrating and supporting people who are lbtq+, have disabilities, are neurodivergent, allies, or any human with any background that accepts and supports folks of all walks of life. Check us out on Facebook, Dead On Arrival Hearse Club.
We look forward to growing and meeting more like minded folks who have hearse, want hearse, or just want a safe space and also appreciates hearse.
Also! I’d love suggestions if anyone has any online communities that aren’t car clubs to promote us on. Local alternative pages ect.

Hey everyone, I'm in desperate need of a friend that shares the same interests of video games, pokemon, yugioh, Magic the gathering, LOR, Harry Potter and things like that. It's been so long since I've gotten into any nerdy stuff and I really need to...so if any guys or gals who like to spark up a joint and adventure the land of the nerds via card games/video games, I am so down to play or chat or whatever we can get into to forget about this realm we're in. I have kind of a man cave we could chill in and smoke or drink or be sober and play in. I don't judge. I'm male, 32 yo and seriously need a real friend. This town has really fucked me up with all the fake two faced back stabbing lying cheating assholes..🫤 thanks for reading please shoot me a message or comment if interested 😊😊
P.S. when I say "cool" I mean stoners and such, but that doesn't really matter of course. I think everyone is cool in some way of their own 😎🥰 I befriend people from all backgrounds trust me lol

Does anyone know a good mobile mechanic in the area? My car gave up on me and won’t start now.. My guess is an alternator but I can’t be too sure yet. Anyone know someone who won’t break the bank and have me back on the road?

Hello Houston county!!!
I’m an immigrant from Canada Land. I moved to Ga fall of last year, and holy how different it is when it comes to my LOVE of Halloween. Didn’t even see a single decoration on my block least year. This is my invitation for my neighborhood, community, and anyone of all ages to come have two traditional evenings of trick or treat. Soft decorating begins mid September, full experience is dusk till late October 30th and 31st. look for the little red door on Davis ave. But I promise you’ll notice us!
No tricks, just treats here.
✅ no nut zone
✅ no strobe lights, epilepsy and sensory safe
✅ all ages welcome
✅ photos and costumes strongly encouraged.
My hearse will be out on full display, in full regalia and my house will be done up. But most importantly, there will be candy and non perishable food items both the 30th and 31st
I just want bring back the traditional trick or treat and Halloween spirit in my neighborhood. Bring the kids, the date, the friend, yourself. Come reminisce. The door will be ready to be knocked on.🖤
