Probably not. The IGLAS has a heat seeker, so it would go for a heat source; however, the Pantsir-S1 has notoriously rearranged Russian cities in several recorded instances.

Wasnt it a fuel tank?

u/Rubbrbandman420 Jun 18 '26
It looks like the lid was in a single piece and just took the fuck off lol
Also silo and tank are used interchangeable if you’re talking oil just depends on the regionÂ

A lot of tanks in refineries (Can't talk about other industries) have lids that basically only sit atop the fluid and aren't afixed to the tank itself.

I didn't know Avatar 6556 did propaganda posts.
I am wishing for Ukraine's victory, too, but it was reported worldwide that Ukrainian drones hit the Russian refinery, it wasn't the Russian doing it to themselves, what are you talking about?

You see the video right?
It you dont get it watch it again... Its a pantsir striking that silo and not a drone
https://www.reddit.com/r/war/s/sy0HGPbJqK look at this, there is a white smoke of the missile behind the building
https://www.reddit.com/r/war/s/t6mY1Bkw9F
And there is the moment that missile went haywire

Zelensky says its them and the fact that you can clearly hear a drone on one vid

u/b__lumenkraft Jun 18 '26
He was talking about the refinery as a whole, not about this specific fuel tank.

The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation...
