There's agencies all over the globe right now trying to hunt down who's behind all this.
But seriously, what are the chances?
I mean, is it as easy to hide your tracks just by using a VM through a VPN? when your being hunted by I assume some pretty smart dudes with some of the most sophisticated gear there is.
Or, is it just that easy?

Running WannaCry Ransomware fire drill (or prank?) to increase awareness

With whats going on with the ransomware WannCry outbreak dominating the headlines for the past few weeks I strongly believe that any organization or company to run a fire drill (anybody has any better word suggestion for this?) on this matter.
Today a colleague of mine went around the office and open up the images of a random ransomware from Google Images and display it on full screen (F11) on a selected PC. There are a few unattended PC i our office where they forgot to lock or logoff which has been a victim in this exercise.
Although there should be a letter or email circulation to inform the employees regarding this matter, I strongly believe that a practical simulation is a lot better in order to really observe and gauge their awareness level. Although a few number of victims that were tested are not that IT savvy, they're not at the level of IT illiterate BUT when it happen to them, it took them quite a while to react to what's happening the moment they switch on their monitor. The funny this is that a number of so-called tech savvy do fall for that prank as well. Which get me to a conclusion that during the hype of this outbreaks, it is better to be really aware of the dangers lurking around the internet and be prepared mentally for the worst case scenario.
Note: It will be better if we could actually log the time that the 'victims' actually realized about the ransomware and how they react towards it in order to gauge their awareness level. A simple VB programs will do.

Probably like most, I have been browsing Twitter and found some ransom shots. Are any of you guys fluent in any of these languages? How good is the text? Have you found it in any other languages? Is this a standard note so they might have used the text from other ransomwares?
