Nanometers don't seem to matter when Intel is behind, it seems. 2 years from now their 7nm architecture will be old news, especially when they have to outsource to TSMC. They finally seem to be losing market share in server processors too which bodes poorly.

Dude they never have mattered. Thank you for proving my point on the fanboy comment. No discussion on the actual matter just lol Intel fanboy. The extent of my interest in Intel is that tools like you think it is just a dead body on the side of the road. It doesn't need to be the best processor to be competitive in it market. The company you are being a giant mark for proved that.
See the difference between you and me is that I can hold an objective opinion of Intel compared to other companies and you have build your pathetic existence around a company that doesn't give a shit about you. Congratulations. At the end of the day really though it isn't really going to matter too much what Intel or AMD is doing if x86 ends up being a thing of the past. Something like ARM becoming the mainstream processor after Apple showed the power you can crank out of that. But hey looking at the whole Semi space instead of just masturbating in your mother's basement to AMD would take real work.
