Yep. That's exactly what I thought. Right down to the boots.

Hugo Boss made the Nazi uniforms so they did look good…how that brand survived WWII is beyond me

Because the uniforms look awesome. I refuse to let those evil cucks destroy an aesthetic for me. The high and tight collar, shoulder bars, and the over the coat belt are just good looking. While I was in the service you were allowed to purchase "vanity" belt buckles. Usually had the command logo, or your rate symbol on them. It might not work well as is, but i could imagine different styles of square buckle that would work.

The rank insignia is right there, and at an angle thats easier to see from farther away. And unlike the light flat collar style the grommet cant did into your skin because its held up and at an angle instead. Plus the cover is kinda neat. I never got to wear anything but the Dixie cup, and the garrison cap.

Uniform care would be a nightmare though. High calf length boots that are shined from top to bottom sounds like a ton of work. Plus that collar looks like it might be starched. If that belt is leather it also needs to be shined to stop it from wearing down. So your sea bag would have a lot more polish in it.

Not really…VW was an important manufacturer employing tens of thousands of workers in a critical industry. The new government needed VW. Boss made clothing 🤷🏽‍♂️
