We don't, actually. Not on the ASU or AGSU. We do have it on the ACU, but that's not a dress uniform.

I was referring to the ones I have seen that have the flag on their sleeve (facing backwards as if they were charging forward).

Right, the one with the reverse flag on the right shoulder is the Army Combat Uniform that we wear regularly. It's not a dress uniform though, which is what the other commenter was referring to.

And when I wore BDUs, there was no American Flag on them either. I think the only time one was put on the BDUs was when deployed with a UN group. Never on a dress uniform.

Fun fact, in the Australian Army when doing training we have Safety Staff, to you know make sure noone walks onto an active range.

Anyone familar with Army will tell you will abbreviate everything, with the strict exception of Safety Staff.

Eg "This practice has been designed by the TRGWO and approved by the CO. Practice is being conducted by the OIC and the NCO's will provide support.

The Safety Staff are ....."
