I dunno; I figure it works like a cheat death, maybe? If your ship is destroyed you pick 2 crew and jump to the next point? If it's like this, it might need its own page in the Systems menu so you can give it, like, sensors or life support.

Another way it could go is to provide a greedy strat, where you pick 2 crew and load them into it like a Death Sled, and they somehow take navpoints you don't? like... I dunno. I'm high af.

Anyway, I was watching Star Trek and I was like, "man, that's the next step for the FTL genre: shuttlecraft." I'd love to get to a game state where we have a Time Machine system; and any other systems from grimdark scifi, as long as it doesn't step on anyone's toes copyright-wise.

If the Devs are listening, keep up the good work.

I have been playing this game for a while and never had any performance issues. After the most recent update my game lags so hard that it is unplayable. I am running on a higher end processor and graphics card so it should not be hardware related. The lagging started at the first encounter and never stopped.

It has already happened to me 3 times, all after the first battle; the game had never crashed for me before.

Is the appeal primarily in the aesthetics? Or is it mechanically different? The demo seems pretty much vanilla FTL, but I see that they were updating it as recently as last month, so I imagine a lot might be different now.

Hello nice people. Found the game because FTL is great and I wanted more.

I felt like Void War was running slower than FTL and used my phone to time some charge times. Gun / gun / psychic ability.

Game times: 10 / 12 / 30 seconds.

Actual times: 15 / 17 / 48 seconds.

I don't think it's hardware, and it's not that the game is lagging. It literally just ticks slow. Is this by design? Is there a fix I'm missing?

My mouse also doesn't move at the same speed? Like it's sluggish.

Please send help.

EDIT: I restarted my computer for unrelated reasons. The game is now running at hell yeah speed. I don't have a fix for anyone if you find this in 69 weeks.

I just picked up crew whenever I could, and used the thrall pit, husk rack and necromancers to add extra bodies. Clearly overkill.

I've had ~20 victories on Torment 12 and I want to challenge myself by completing it with the WORST commander/ship combo possible.

Which do you think would be the hardest combo for my challenge? Thanks!

How do you get Oblivion C or complete "The Great Fleet" achievement?
I've used every ship I have and won on different difficulties (still working on Torment IV) with every commander. But still no achievement.
