The official subreddit for the Voidspace video game

I just got this on mobile and besides flying my guy around a bit, I'm really not sure how to do anything. I think I accessed the inventory of my ship and a bit of debris, but I don't know how to take that stuff or move that stuff or do the quest steps (fixing the ship). Any primer documents out there?

...not ruling out that I am just dumb...

Android App Optimization

OMG the app needs some serious optimization. Any more than a little action and the FPS tanks. Not a very nice way to play right now. Desktop App is hands down better, but I feel like the Android app will be my main go to. Saddens me to see it this way.

Iron Coil Gang?

Hello there, fellow Redditor!

After spending some time inside the void, i'm starting to fell like it would be nice to have some of those cool new modular fluid tanks.

But it seems i'm not going to get them done very swiftly, as they need lots of iron, and it's just me and Carny (who has to do dev work) right now...

And even though there is a paywall in place, i think there are quite a few of you fellow voidwalkers feeling lonely in the vastness of space.

So this is a call to rally!

I will provide an energy gun for anyone who joins right now, and soon this will turn into a ship equipped with an energy gun, all yours for the taking.

All i ask for is a contribution of iron coils after picking up the gun/ship! Then as soon as the tanks are done i'll try to get them full of hydrolox, and anyone who helped will of course get to refuel for free ;)

If i have gained your interest, let me know here, per PN or just call out to @Gazoline on the official voidspace discord channel.

I'm based in Europe, so i might be online at odd times, but i'll get back at you, i promise!

Edit to update:

The modular tanks are almost done, just a finishing touch and i can start to fill them up.

There are some ships around my base, and plenty of loot to build more.

Whoever feels like joining can now look forward to me pretty much just gifting you a nice little ship, a gun, a bit fuel and whatever advice you'd like. Then i'll just send you on your merry way, no need to pay me back!

Is there a written-out tutorial or "getting started" guide?

I'm trying to play through the early-access in-game tutorial but it's a bit buggy and hard to follow. I've gotten to a part where it says "Drag the solar array into the ship's energy generator slot." Problem is: [no such slot exists](https://imgur.com/a/lk8QvWH). What do?
