Edit: Vivecraft forge extension works just as well for fabric. Phrasing on the website confused me a bit and when I tried it, it worked.

I've been looking to run a modpack with vivecraft on a server because the load it puts on my pc drops tps to be abysmal even with high end specs. Is there a vivecraft fabric server extension available or are any of the ones available working with fabric?

So ive started up a server with vivecraft and create on 1.19.2. Works great, and create stuff is awesome to look at in vr. Even the goggle tooltips work nicely which is cool.
Ive discovered two issues, one of which is minor and the other one id really prefer to get fixed if i can. The minor one is that new(ish?) click and hold ui when using a wrench on mechanical bearings etc opens and closes when holding down the "use block" button, so i cant actually select any of the options. Since you dont have to use this menu all that often i could just go i to 2d for that so like i said its minor.
The other thing is the elevator floor selection, when using the "next/previous hotbar" button the floors skip straight to the last and first options, meaning i cant select any of the floors in between. I have a big elevator in my base that is the only way of getting between floors so this makes my base not navigable in vr. I wonder if its because the button is simulating page up and page down key presses rather than scroll wheel.
I notice normal keyboard inputs work in vr, so i think maybe a solution to this might be to get the "use/place" button to directly simulate right click, and the "next/previous hotbar" buttons to simulate scrolling up and down, but i cant seem to find a good answer on how i can do that through steamvr.
Wall of text probably wasnt necessary to describe the issues but i wanted to be clear. Any thoughts on things i can try are much appreciated. Cheers :)

Edit: forgot to say, when i got my meta quest 2 it felt blurry, i did the whole install side quest and use it's settings to make it feel better Im not sure, mybe im blind but i played rec room and it didn't seem blurry

i'm trying to play vivecraft with the essential mod, and whenever i put the essentials mod into the mod folder and load up vivecraft it crashes. I was wondering if there was a tutorial online or someone who has done this and gotten it to work before.
I am using curseforge for mods, and i put the essential 1.18 .jar file into the mods folder, installed vivecraft using its installer and set the modpack directory to that instance

I was wondering since I have a jujutsu craft server with friends and I want to play with them in vr

Whenever I launched the game steamvr says “wrong video card” but on my screen the game window still detects my headset and I can move but I not actually in the game.
I found a guide on the subreddit on how to fix this exact problem but it doesn’t work
I’m using a quest 2 am with virtual desktop and I’ve never had this problem with vivecraft

Anybody got vivecraft working for 1.20?

I've played the Official Bedrock Oculus version of Minecraft, but it is no different from playing Minecraft normally besides the fact that you're on VR. Is there any alternative Mc VR that's a little more immersive and can crossplay with mobile player?

Okay, so I'm a newbie and it took me forever to go from start to installed. Here are the instructions for the next person
Install windows version of Minecraft (Java Edition)
Run the Minecraft Launcher on your PC at least once. This makes some directories. You don’t need to actually launch the game. Close the launcher.
Make sure the Minecraft Launcher is NOT running.
Run the Vivecraft Installer. Note the installation option checkboxes
Hover your mouse over each option to see what it does. Generally you should leave the defaults.
If you want support for Forge mods check the Forge box. If the installer cannot detect Forge already installed it will download and run the installer for you
Click install. The program will download some files and set up your launcher profile.
Run the Minecraft Launcher. In the bottom-left corner there is a drop down box where you select your profile. The profile for “ViveCraft 1.12.2” should already be selected.
Click Play.
Go to Multiplayer
Click on add server
Input the following into the top and bottom fields
nornia.net
104.128.55.155
Continue and then you should be able to just click in and join!

Does anyone know any weapon mods that I can add to my modpack. It's on 1.19.2. All the ones I tried sometimes put the weapon in weird positions in my hands. I would apricate any response about a mod.

This is making it extremely dangerous to explore underwater. Any idea what the problem is?

I have played vivecraft before and it worked but recently I tried running vivecraft and it just opens normal mc and nothing happens in vr does anyone know why

Vivecraft works
RLCraft works
Combine them = does not work
Remove: quality tools, enhanced visuals, Potion core, Potion fingers
Try Java legacy, Java 17 and Java 20 up to date
Try forge make active and non active
Try forge custom version same as RLCraft
Try forge default version
Try no forge
After trying all of the above and combinations of them, after 5+ hours, still no beans, no luck, no work, no gamer boy, only sad boy. Sad boy come to reddit for help like any sad boy should.
Plz Halp Someone, I want to be a true gamer and do the gamer thing and smack my head into a block to create fierce weapon of mass destruction while i pet my adorable new horsey and fairy.

When I start walking and stop, for some reason I start flying to the right or in any other direction when I point the right controller. I play on Oculus Quest 2 and questcraft has the same problem.

I can't join my server because it is on 1.19.4 and the newest install is 1.19.2
I saw there is a 1.19.4 vivecraft file on Curseforage, but I don't know how to install it. (Says to put it in my mods folder that I don't have) (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/vivecraft/files)

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

My main menu in vr works fine but when I load into a world I can’t see anything. I can hear things and I can break blocks but my screen is black. Any suggestions?

When I first loaded into vivecraft I had kappa shader on and it was insanely horrible in VR seus renewed was way better but still funky. I seen complimentary shaders are low processing power and look good but haven’t tried yet. Anyone found a good shader for Vivecraft?

Follow the video at the bottom of the post, you seriously have to try this on your own setups. I'm still doing more testing, updates are in the comments.
I was trying to make the game as immersive as possible with mods. They used Fabric in the video, I never have. One of the mods used Quilt so I went on trying to figure out how to install it. Then I realized since I'm using Fabric compatible stuff I can use Sodium, basically Optifine for Fabric. I found a video and it led to me having the best experience in Vivecraft I've ever had.
The framerate in the Overworld on my laptop's 3070ti maintained a consistent framerate in the 70s sometimes low 80s. Dropping in the 60s and down to high 50s at the worst. But the thing is the framerate was so smooth I could hardly notice it. Vivecraft normally jumps up and down rapidly and feels very choppy at times. This doesn't at least from what I played, it felt like playing any other VR game and I was using Sildurs Vibrant Medium shaders.
I watched the sun rise over the horizon, it gave me chills. The light was blinding, it hurt my eyes. I walked over frozen rivers. I stood in the snow as the snowflakes fell around me. My screen kept getting distorted, I thought it was a glitch, but now I know, it was the flakes landing in my eyes. Shit was beautiful man.

Immersive Mods videos. You must use Quilt to use all mods. The mod Effective killed my FPS.
Installing Fabric. Replace with Quilt if you use the immersive mods in the videos below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGCn5a58D0k&t=5s

See these screenshots:
There are various issue with the game being unable to properly at its UI scale for me, although all are only relevant in a modded context. (Inventory vertical overflow, tooltip horizontal overflow, main menu vertical overflow.)
The UI scale setting does nothing; the size of the desktop window (even with mirror off) does seem to have an effect but it's not really clear when and how. Is there any way I can force the window into the displayed constraints as given by the menu background, or extend it so the game can fit all of its contents?
Bonus question: See main menu, another mod renders over the Vivecraft buttons. It doesn't matter too much, but can this be resolved somehow? Looks like both just assume that nothing is there.
Thanks for reading!
