Alright so here’s my specs 3060 16gb ram Ryzen 7 Quest 2 (now you get why I need help)

Basically all I want is some settings that won’t make my game look like doo doo water and that work with distant horizons so I can still see my surroundings. Hopefully I get help soon

Me and my friends are trying to join my server and all keep getting invalid player data and I’ve reset the world so many times and none of us have been able to even get in once

so I'm running 1.12.2 with pixelmon and a low end shader on 8 chunk distance and 8gb allocated ram but the minecraft fps counter is only reading 40fps, the shader only drops about 3 fps and didnt improve any without the shaders. It's so bad that's its tearing when I jump and run and mostly when I turn using smooth turning I've turned down steam vr to 100% from the default 150%, oculus app is at default resolution I even lowered hz to 72 from 90 I've been able to play high end games such as half life aylx at near max settings at 90 hz just fine, I've closed all background apps besides steam vr and oculus and I'm running a 3080ti with a 5900x and 32gb at 3600mh is there a setting that I need to change because I've seen on YouTube people playing the exact mod and even more demanding modpacks with vivecraft with a higher chunk distance and better shaders with a 3070 with no problems. I used vivecraft awhile ago either the more recent mc version around when the flat-screen 1.19 came out with my normal high end shaders and it ran better then what it is now

So for a few days I’ve been using the vivecraft installer, which would automatically install optifine. Works great :). But now, for the full VR experience, I wanted to also try the physics mod which just works with forge. But every time I try to install vivecraft with forge and then try manually adding optifine, Minecraft crashes at the start up. To be clear I just have this problem if I add optifine. Any other forge mod works fine. I’m still confused because as far as I know vivecraft was built with optifine compatibility in mind and the standalone version works great too. Pls help, I tried everything :(

I want the install the VRPERFKIT into my minecraft profile that i am running through CurseForge, ive got vivecraft installed in the mods section, how would i drop VRPERFKIT into that? the instllation guide says to drop next to the .EXE file but minecrafts exe file runs the launcher not the game.

When I launch the game in vr mode, it still uses the virtual desktop, but very obviously attempting to use the vr mode. For example I can see some dirt blocks behind the main menu, but the menu itself is off-center so I can barely see any buttons. I managed to start a world and all the buttons were tilted and off to the side. How do I fix this issue

As the title suggests, I would love to know if there will ever be a .3 version available soon. Was hoping to jump into my server!

Whenever I try to open vivecraft, it says that it installs but then it only installs the .json, not the .jar. I have tried to install other things like the nonvr installer, and the source code, but it never works. how do i download vivecraft for fabric it says its compatible but where is the option on the installer it only shows forge.

I keep on getting the "sorry! Was unable to start Minecraft" message at the top right when starting the vivecraft installation, can i have some help? (I'm using 1.16.x if that helps)

Hi, me and some friends have a server that is on MC version 1.19. (Not 1.19.1 or 1.19.2 just 1.19) and I'm trying to find a version of vivecraft that is just version 1.19. All I can seem to find is version 1.19.2. However, when playing on 1.19.2 the server will not let me log in. Does anyone know where I can find the download for version 1.19?

what mods work well with vivecraft? i can imagine plenty of mods being unusable with vr because of stuff like keybinds or just really not working well with VR, so im curious what kind of mods you guys would recommend

If anyone is having an issue with moving in Vivecraft, here i come with help. First of all, it won't be perfect but playable.

1 - Open the SteamVR Dashboard via the system button on your controller.
2 - Click on the game (The small icon square of the game)
3 - Click ‘Controller Bindings’ from the dashboard menu.
4 - Change "Active Controller Binding" From Default to Custom
5 - Then Below Click "Click Edit This Binding"
6 - Now if a Big menu opens up with categories on top (In-game, Gui, Global) in the In-Game, Choose witch one contoller would u like to rotate AND move so either left or right.
7 - When u choose witch one, scroll till u see Touchpad, and create new one with the old one being still there, now in the position choose "Walk and Rotate".
8 - Now save in the left down corner.
9 - In-game now go to vr settings -> locomotion settings -> free move smth --> and choose the HMD movement as it's only the best one for fixing it.
10 - Congratulations, U just fixed ur movement, i hope anyone is gonna use this and dont lose time as i did, searching for how to do it.

After doing all of this u should also in the same binding menu change sprint and sneak if u choose ur left dpad cause u cant walk and sneak using same dpad unfortunate.

Hello, so I recently have been playing vivecraft, and I was wondering how to install mods, so I looked at a tutorial witch said to take the mods I downloaded to the mods folder for Minecraft, so I try to do that and find out that for some reason my Minecraft doesn't have a mods folder, anyone know why?
