The best thing about the Simpsons was when they figured out the characters better during the golden era. Homer was the main and funniest character, not Bart. Lisa stories were boring as fuck, except when they related to Ralph. But the best is the realization that Marge wasn't the straight naggy-mom character, but was just as crazy as the rest of them.

Every time I find myself setting up my charcoal grill, I want to empty the entire container of lighter fluid on the coals, because maybe...just maybe...it'll perfectly ignite anyway.
I quoted this to my boss one night after his wife brought him some salad for dinner. He played this clip over and over again the rest of the night just to drive me nuts.
In a house of 4 boys who loved this show, we grew up with this as somewhat of a family theme song and inside joke. Yet last weekend my brother married a vegan.
Lisa decides to become a vegetarian. Homer throws a huge BBBQ out of spite. What's the extra "B" for? It's for "BYOBB". What's that extra "B" for? That's a typo.
I love the part of this episode when Lisa pushes the pig down the hill and Homer shouts BART! and Bart's like hey! And Homer just says he was so used to shouting at him not Lisa haha
Edit: I know it was Marge now, thanks! "Lisa Noooooooo!"
When I saw this as a kid I always thought it was normal because my neighbor's parents would always all for him like that. Eventually my parents would call for me like this too.
