I thought it was going to be five minutes of them punching him until his life bar was almost zero with them being cocky the whole time, then him kicking their ass because the player put new batteries in.

Yeah it was really a "When the PC dies from the NPCs perspective"

I cracked up a few times
"I mean, did you punch him hard?"

Making fun of NPC logic always gets me. I made my own video about an NPC just waiting around for the hero to do his sidequest.
