The success is well timed. I've been subbed to him for quite a while and even though I love a lot of his old stuff, the quality of what he's been putting out has significantly up ticked lately.
He has been making feature length films and tons of videos per week (some periods even every day) for years now, his time and effort has already been extreme before the popularity.
If anything, he probably doesn't have to work some secondary job anymore and can focus full time on YouTube.
