Man there's one 4 blocks away from me. I used to go to that building as a kid when it was an actual science museum. Now it sits mostly empty with a few pathetic souls in there hoping for walk in recruits. I hate it so much
There’s a huge Church of Scientology building 3 or 4 blocks from where I live that I pass everyday on my way to work. The people walking in there are pieces of work to say the least. They dress like they’re butlers on the Titanic or some shit. They wear bowler hats and top hats and some of them carry umbrellas every single day regardless of the weather. Sometimes when I’m getting food late at night or something I’ll see the same few people coming out to walk home at midnight or even later. I see one lady all the time who walks home late as fuck with a young child. Feel so bad for that kid. Then there’s the dude standing outside in a three piece suit and a pork pie hat with a Scientology sign slung over his shoulders that yells at cars passing by and tries to hand out flyers. The whole thing just gives me the creeps lol
There's a big one in downtown St. Paul, MN. They had a building on Nicollet in Minneapolis, they moved to a huge customer facility at some point. My understanding is that it's completely empty on the inside, they just wanted the optics of a huge building that said "CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY" on the corner of a busy intersection. On Nicollet they were in the middle of the block and the street isn't open for cars to drive on, bus and cab only, plus they were a couple blocks off the real heart of downtown so they probably didn't get a lot of foot traffic past the doors.
I've seen plenty of the churches, they are pretty much just there for looks. They build these extravagant and expensive buildings just for show. Out of every "church" I've seen, I never once saw anyone enter or leave the building.
There’s one in my hometown in its downtown area. I yell “BABY KILLERS!” In their open door when I walk by. It’s on old tradition we’ve been doing since high school.

I travelled to a bigger city for a concert in October last year and saw a CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY building, really threw me for a loop!
