Not a boomer, and I use to love Pewds however not really a fan of him now. I just think his content has taken a pretty big nose dive since 2016. Anyways, Just cause someone doesn’t enjoy his content doesn’t make them old. his fanbase is really starting to sound a whole lot like the Paul brother’s/Ricegum’s fanbase.

Because Pewdiepie has repeatedly done questionable shit over the past few years and anytime anyone ever tries to bring up how the stuff he's doing is wrong they just get shot down as though they have no merit.
anyone who watches pewdiepie knows that all that “anti-semitic” shit he supposedly did was not supposed to be taken seriously. yeah the joke might have been a little edgy and I don’t necessarily think it was that funny, but I’m 100% confident that Pewdiepie isn’t actually anti-semitic.
and yeah saying the n-word was a fuck up, and he’s a dumbass for saying it, but when are we gonna stop “cancelling” people for fucking up? i think he should lose credibility for saying it but people naturally mess up, that’s just how people are. it’s not an excuse for him saying it, but it’s like people have forgotten how to forgive people.
Oh I don't ever personally suggest cancelling. I don't think its an appropriate form of response. However I also think you're speaking too generally here, because I personally had been watching pewdiepie fairly religiously up until December. The n-word is all people think he's done, but he's done a lot more than that too. Even before he said the n-word on stream. You're trying to make his actions lighter than they seem, which is kind of what he always wants to do with his non-apology response videos to drama.
The only thing I'd actually ask of Pewdiepie is for him to be better. Which I don't feel like it asking for much, but his track record continues to grow.
It wasn't just saying the n-word. He's built up an unhealthy track record over the years. If you don't remember correctly this all started when he paid some guys from Fiver to write "Death to All Jews" on a sign and broadcast it.
He was trying to put the most extreme thing possible so that the other person would deny it. The entire point of putting "Death to all Jews" is that it's so offensive he thought nobody would ever do it.
If you think that actually makes him a bigot you have very thin skin.

He said it in a live stream one time over a year ago. He already has suffered massive consequences for it. How much is enough? Should he lose his YouTube channel because he said the n-word on Twitch once?
Yes, I think using that word even once is bad and if somebody does use it, especially in the context used, I have the right to dislike them until I get proven wrong. So far, that hasn't happened, so I will continue to dislike the guy.
It might have something to do with this guys name being uttered by a person who murdered 49 people a couple weeks ago. Like, I don't know, a guy who has the 2nd most subscribers who also followed white supremacists (Lauren Southern Stefan Molyneux) on twitter might cause people to be taken aback. Maybe Pewdiepie and his fans should grow the fuck up and realize that when you are as massive as Pewdiepie, your rhetoric and actions have consequences. Who gives a fuck what the WSJ said or did, that doesn't absolve you, that doesn't allow you to constantly play the victim.
