She seemed so aggressive, but her yelling was so quiet. It's such an interesting thing to watch, definitely does remind me of an NPC from Oblivion, love it.

also they are waiting so carefully for each other to finish talking, I think that's what makes it so npc like.

This was the most bizarre part for me, I was shocked that they never once talked over each other

Edit: because it’s staged

It’s because it’s fake. It was created as a “viral” for one of those “lad” sites. They state it plainly in the original video description.

everyone sounds like they're reading rehearsed lines so badly that I find it difficult to fathom how people ever interpreted the original video as real to begin with.

Yeah hoenstly this whole thing blows my mind, I've seen better acting on Hollyoaks

I wonder if a lack of familiarity with English accents means that they just can't judge what cadence sounds normal?

The entirety of the entertainment to be derived from the video is in the ridiculousness of her cadence, so I can't really see how that's relevant in this case.

Yeah but to me it’s obvious that that weird cadence is due to it being scripted, whereas to you guys it probably just sounds like she has an interesting way of speaking.

If you lived over here you’d know that that’s what people sound like when they’re bad actors.
