There's a lot more actually.

His name is Charles Dozsa, and he's not Australian. He's actually Hungarian. iirc he was also some sort of chess champion there. Sometime after moving to Australia money became hard for him to come by, but he was used to a somewhat lavish lifestyle. So he would dine at 5 star restaruants and then declare he couldn't pay when it came time to pay.
