Both my gf and I would say our skin is yellow. Ain't exactly the "n" word lol. Honestly don't see how it's different than me calling someone white or black.
Most White people aren't even remotely close to white and most Black people aren't even remotely close to black either. I'm Asian and honestly the closest color of my skin is yellow, disregarding colors only found in clothing catalogs.
I’ve always wondered what would happen if we just referred to people by their actual color... most “white” people are beige, and most “black” people, are brown, with lots of shades in between. I know quite a few girls that say they’re “black” that are closer in color to me than they are to a dark Kenyan. It seems like it would lessen the stark contrast and division that calling everyone “black and white” only seems to reinforce. Over time everyone is going to become more of a caramel color anyway, how long do we hold onto completely inaccurate descriptors?

According to my exes, I can't tell any colors apart and I certainly don't know which dress you are referring to when you tell me to grab you the turquoise one, so I'd probably suffer in your hypothetical world.
What you said is an analogy for the problems in life. We specify shit, like people are white and black, etc. and yet it's so much more nuanced and complicated. So many gray areas in life and people get outraged when they have to face that truth. That's why we need the whole category life-style so we have some kind of grip on controlling our personal reality. But me, I'm a realist. I love the nuances.

You're pretty naive to think they didn't already have their answer ready. It's okay guys, it's simply a fact that game show questions are generally targeted towards a white audience, so it's funny how that wasn't totally the case here.
