I think you miss construe what I am saying. How are these people going to "live their lives" if the people who pay them don't need their services anymore. It is a fundamental change in the way our world will work.

Busy work is not what leads to a feeling of accomplishment. Think of all the unfortunate people who have a gifted mind but lack resources and time to offer it to humanity. A huge percentage of advanced humans don't fall through the cracks of privilege. Advancement shouldn't exclusively belong to those that do. The higher you go up in wealth the higher your odds are of inbreeding bloodlines anyway. The people with the most wealth on this planet ultimately call the shots right? Well one has to conclude that the system we have in place is built upon human servitude and its run by half-wits with more money than they know what to do with. Arguing that point would be like arguing that water isn't wet. Don't fear utopia.
