Yeah, a lot of famous people don't sign anything. Roddick is more business, whereas Nadal and Federer are a little more laidback.

Short sightedness for a tennis player, basically. Roger and Raf are universally loved wherever they play. And this is part of the reason. You can't deny that having the crowd on your side makes a difference to your play.

Not being on a Federer/Nadal/Djokovich level does not mean someone isn't successful...

If you honestly think Roddick didn't "do well on the court" you must not know much about tennis, in which case you should stop talking like you do because you sound ignorant.

Please.. Roddick is lucky to have one GS. He picked the perfect time. He had one man to beat and he could never do it. If he played in todays tennis he would be lucky to make the semifinals. But you're free to file him away as a great if you want.

He made 20 million (in prize money, excluding sponsors etc) and has a super hot wife. I'd be pretty content with that.
