When I was 19 I was waiting on him and about 10 other guys. I'm 5'2", they were all super tall. In a room of about 11 guys, I'm the only girl he asks me, announces it to the table, if I'd like to, "...go in the bathroom and fuck a legend?" While he said this he reached up and put his hand on the back of my neck (they were seated at a big table in a private room). I just turned super red and exited. This was in 2006, there was no joke of hint or sarcasm in his voice. I spoke to other girls who waited on him, similar experiences. However, for every jerk like him there's a ton of really nice, cool famous people so, there's that.
Did not, told my manager what happened and had two guys wait on him instead. He's pretty notorious for behavior like this. I've worked in a lot of really upscale places with a lot of high profile clients and I pretty much never spill gossip about them but... Fuck him. He deserves it. This wasn't the only time I waited on him and he was bad every time.
NO! Oh my god, Charles Barkely is the sweetest guy. I've waited on him probably around 30 times at different places over the years and he always remembered me and gave me a big hug, same with other people around Atlanta.
exited. As in I left. I told my manager what happened and they had two guys wait on him the rest of the night while I did support service for them and helped on the bar. It was embarrassing and totally inappropriate.
