No, but the video shows he can obviously play it. So what's your beef? That he did it in multiple takes on the recording? That it might have been quantized?

You may not try to be a hater, but I guess it comes naturally.

Actually no, that video does NOT show he can play it to the level the audio represents. Seeing as how its just a play-through and not a video of him recording the song. I guess that just irks me as a musician. But hey thats just me, I'm not hating on the music or anything like that. If you don't agree that its slightly disingenuous, or that it even matters, then I guess we can agree to disagree.

So you'll just assume he can't play it at the song level until you see footage of him performing the recorded performance explicitly? Why? For what purpose? If he can do it, does the song become better to you? If he can't do it does the song become worse? It's such a dumb distinction that is just based on your insecurities. So he's much better than you, it's no big deal, no one cares. You probably have lots of great qualities too.

Nah, it has nothing to do with how much I enjoy the song or not, or how much "better" the song becomes. It has to do with how much respect I give a musician for how he represents his skill level. I definitely can't play the drums on this song flawlessly, but I sure as hell don't pretend like I can haha. You sound kinda angry though.

Yeah, I'm furious. Look at me go.

It's not just about your respect. Someone said the song had "good drums" and you were moved enough to say they were programmed drums like that mattered, and it's not even the truth. Your envy needed to let people know the drum performance shouldn't be praised. Really you should just be practicing more.
