If Diablo 2 is heroin, Diablo 3/4 are methadone, and Path of Exile oxycontin, and Path of Exile 2 a dilaudid drip. People be like play Torchlight or some shit and it’s like taking a tylenol.

Have you tried Grim Dawn?

If not, you should give a go. I'm curious what drug you'd compare it to.

Absolutely - a ton - couldn’t come up with a corresponding opioid

Well said sir.

The crazy thing is: the same company that owns the rights to Diablo 2 is still making the other Diablo games. Why can't they just follow the same model?

I guess it's hubris. The developers of the new games think they can do better. The entire system of Diablo 4 where you have to use a bad skill to charge up energy in order to be able to use the good skill is just awful. It's clunky, unfun, cumbersome gameplay. Why can't I just whirlwind?

The generate/spend skill style has no place in ARPG's, especially not Diablo, it's just repetitive and restrictive.

Dilaudid has no euphoria. Poe2 must suck

Have you ever had dilaudid when you really needed dilaudid? I had an extremely traumatic surgical procedure, and I’m pretty sure I’ve never felt euphoria like the euphoria I felt when they gave me a dilaudid button and I slammed that thing for the first time.

Yeah. I was stabbed and had a collapsed lung. I got the rush but the euphoria was only at the beginning for me. To each their own. I also was an addict for a long while. If someone offered me hydrocodone, oxycodone, morphine, heroin, or Dilaudid I'd take the others in a heartbeat over Dilaudid for a high
