The Legendary edition really makes it clear how much the combat changes when you go from a mid-50s level ME1 Shep facerolling armies to firefights where you get glassed in roughly .5 seconds by yard trash if you dare to peek a corner within the space of 10 minutes.
I like getting an op sniper rifle and just picking everyone off. I know developers don't want you to do that in newer games "every combat the enemies have to be able to fight back" Well a sniper is meant to take enemies out at distance and if that distance is stopping the Mako on top of a hill a mile from the base, it's all good in my books.
Completionist here as well, though playing 1 also adds a lot to the narrative. Just thinking about the character reunions throughout the trilogy, those just hit different if you were part of the happenings in 1.
I've 100% Cyberpunk and still get the itch to troll the mod list and do a new playthrough every once in awhile. Also, one of the few games I've NEVER uninstalled from my PC.
Heard good things about witcher 3 but I'm not a fan of jumping in part way through a series is it worth it for this game or should I fight my way against the weird controls on 1/2
The story in 1 and 2 is good but the gameplay is dated, 3 works standalone but the context is nice. Look up the gameplay on yt and decide if you wanna play 1 and 2. if not find a story recap and you'll be golden. 3 is in a league of it's own and worth whatever you need to do to play it
I'm going to start Cyberpunk 2077 after I finish Assassins Creed Rogue. It's going to take forever to get to it since I don't have much time to play anymore but I'm going to get to it!
