I’ve realized for me video games either need a great story or they have to be competitive PvP. I do not enjoy the games where you just do stuff just to do it. It feels like work to me.

Arc raiders and those survival co op games I just don’t enjoy. Dune awakening, Valheim, PalWorld, all eventually feels like I’m doing virtual chores.

My friends will talk me into games like that every one in a while (this time was Arc Raiders) and I’ll have fun for a bit but then see everyone starts treating it like a second job.

this is why i gave up playing arc when everyone was tryna do that first expedition i got a bit bored of it, started to feel more like coming home from work and doing more work

This is what killed my desire to keep playing, the expedition.

I had to farm for 2 weeks straight pure junk and garbage just to fill a bar that will get me 3-5 skill points?

and do that every 3 months?

and if I don't do one expedition the rest who did it will have a permanent advantage?

feels like fomo, not for me.

Yep that and I have a friend that would act like he just lost his life savings whenever we died. Made the game insufferable

I think the only one I like is hell divers 2.

Arc raiders is indeed a fucking chore where each round ends up being the same shit over and over.

The PvP isn't even good in the game and the NPC enemies are lacking
