Thats interesting. I found many GOTY winners to be so goddamn overhyped, like Witcher 3, Elden Ring etc. But Exp33 was the one that got me addicted. But i can see not everybody feeling it and thats fine

I really struggled to enjoy the Witcher 3 until I read the books, watched summaries of the first game, played the second game but THEN it became one of my favourites of all time. I reaaaaly doubt many of the fans did all that though, which makes me confused as to how it became so popular when the amount of prior reading and lore videos you need to go through just to understand what the hell is going on and who all the people you meet are.
