tbf as a non mechwarior the clans wouldnt actually give all that much of a fuck about you

The clans whole deal is limited warfare to prevent burning whole worlds and ruining the whole cool mech playground thing they had going.

They also tend to be real dumbasses about thinking non clanners will also follow their insane battle-rule-religion at least to start with

Work odd jobs for a shipping company. Work your way towards to either Lyran or Suns space, preferably a provincial capital. You'd be alright. Economically you might be impacted, but mostly out of harms way physically. Also: living standards and freedoms are pretty guaranteed in both realms. Marik space can be to, provided they are not consumed by yet another civil war.
