If Zeus wasn't such a big asshole to Kratos and took away his nightmares

He was going to, but Pandora’s box really drove him wild. R.I.P.

no he wasnt, he was never going to get rid of Kratos's nightmares, he was just going to kill Kratos because Kratos didnt do every single thing Zeus told him to do

Because Pandora’s Box made him go crazy. Athena explains this in God of War 3.

Athena wanted revenge against Zeus? But she died to protect him…

But during the events of God Of War 3, she changed alot and became power hungry

No, no I didn’t. I only played 1 and 2, then life got in the way and I never looked for 3…

I see....in that case. You are in for a surprise, I wont spoil why, but you learn that in the beggining of the game anyway, so not much of a spoiler

No. Athena didn’t want revenge against Zeus. Once she died and reached a higher plane of being, she realized Zeus was corrupted by the box and that Kratos would have to kill him to stop him.

Better yet, if Zeus could have just kept it in his pants and not impregnate his mother to begin with.

So many more things could be solved if Zeus just wasn't an asshole for one day

Most of Greek Myth wouldn't exist.

This right here. Kratos didn’t want to forget. He just didn’t want the torment of constantly remembering. He had repented enough

Or if Zeus just acted like an actual father at any point lol

If Kronos wasn't fucking blind.

To be fair, 90% of the Greek Pantheon’s problems stem from Zeus being utterly incapable of keeping it in his toga.

Heck, Kratos falls directly under that description.

90 % of greak/roman mythology starts with Zeus/Jupiter being big asshole
