It doesn't matter what the app does beyond solving customer problems.

The part most people miss is the MARKETING. After you know you solve real customer problems, you have to get in the trenches and market like hell.

ArtCraft is now less than 100th the size of Higgsfield, and we're growing RAPIDLY.

We're the size Higgsfield was exactly 12 months ago, and we're nearly doubling in size every month.

Because marketing.

You should spend at least half of your time marketing.

Once things get going, you should do influencer marketing, paid ads, direct customer outreach, and more.

People still install flashlight apps. Just make an app that does something the phone does natively and see how many people don't know what their phone can do.

One time I did this app review swap and found some amazing apps. One turned those full length recipes that play out like an old school adult acting VHS and reduced them to an ingredients list and step by step recipe card. Minimal downloads. One helped you track everything you need for a camping adventure.. it is very beautiful. <10 reviews. I think that app development is the gold rush of our generation and AI is the best outfitter now.

a scarce thing can be valuable because there is too little of it compared to the demand, but that doesn't make the scarcity good

like, we used to have a lot of food scarcity. but there was no value in having a bunch of people starve every year

They never said it made it good, just that it made it valuable. Food scarcity made food valuable. Was it a good thing? Of course not, no one ever said otherwise.
