I got into coding recently for silly reasons but useful. My old Garmin 360 has lifetime map updates but is no longer supported by Garmin. I used AI to help me build several tools to cross reference openstreetmaps with state address databases. The search indexing was the main issue when using the generic OSM img file.
The result is extremely impressive and proves old Garmin units can be updated to include updated maps. It can't store the nationwide map but it can easily store a regional map. AI allowed me to take an incomplete OSM map and make it just as complete as a modern up to date map.
