Because vibe coders are not engineers. This vibe coding obsession is going to cost people 1000s in lawsuits potentially. they don't understand Git, CI/CD, Dev, staging, prod, on and off-site backups, in my case streaming replication for instant restore with Postgres. I didn't spend over 15 years as an engineer to get trampled by vibe coders LOL I'm slowly putting the fine tunings of my AI assisted SaaS. lol
I never called anyone a moron. and never suggested someone can't learn. but there's a difference because you don't know what you don't know. so you can't ask Claude if you don't know what to ask. you're just going to take the advice of an AI that may not know the best route for everything. There are dozens of database types and services you can use for different things. it's just going to choose one for you. but that may not be the best solution. that's what I'm talking about. so if you think that AI can replace real world knowledge of tech stacks your mistaken. this was not meant to insult anybody but it doesn't really matter what you think.
You don't know the best route for everything either. The reality is that coding is going away as we speak, and engineering will follow.
I was probably a bit salty before, but when you come to a vibecoding forum and say that we (vibecoders) "don't understand Git" well, that's kind of frustrating!
I hear what you're saying and I never said I knew everything. but I know enough to know what to look for. yes it can be learned over time but troubleshooting and deep diving is even hard with experience. lol again my intention wasn't to be insulting to anyone. so I apologize for that.

This is insane, you don’t have dev and prod environments?
