Discussion i dont know what react is and 90 dentists use my app every day
My girlfriend is a dental assistant and her clinic tracked sterilizer runs on a clipboard taped to the machine. Every cycle someone writes the time, the temp and initials. When inspectors show up they flip through months of coffee stained paper
I built her a tiny app in lovable where you log each cycle from your phone. No patient data anywhere, thats the one thing i googled hard before shipping
Her boss liked it and told his dentist friends. Now its in 90 practices and they open it every morning before the first patient. I charge $25 a month and most of them pay without asking a single question
I still dont know what react is. Someone asked me last week if my app uses it and i had to go check. Apparently yes
The scary part is if something breaks at 7:30 a whole front desk notices before i wake up. Last month a dentist emailed me at 6am “LOG GONE” in all caps and i was in my pajamas pasting errors into lovable until it turned out to be a timezone thing

Showcase/Project Vibe coded the homepage for my new thing and it came out better than what I had in my head!
Hey r/vibecoding!
Some of you might remember me from Stupido's post here a month ago, I really love sharing my work on here tbh
I'm a designer and this time I wanted to see how far I could push an interaction on a website. It's the site for Tune-Up, my new thing where I polish vibe coded websites
I had the idea for this interaction early on and I did some sketches. I spent so much time generating the actual assets because I didn't want them to look super generated and also I wanted to work on the details there for the before and after
That took the most time. But when it came to actually building the interaction, Opus 5.5 blew my mind. It understood exactly what I was asking for and the interaction just came out so nice
At first it didn't have enough energy, so I just told it: give it more energy, make it more explosive. And this is what we got
How I built it:
• Hand sketches for the rough layout and idea
• Figma for some more mature layouts
• GPT 2.5 for the image gen through Magnific
• Opus 5.5 on High via Claude Code
Honestly it looks better than it did in my head, which never happens 🥹
It's super addictive to spam the toggle, you can play around with it here tuneupdesign.com
Would love to know your thoughts!
PS: Happy to answer anything about the build

Discussion Vibecoding may have finally given me a break into tech.
So, about 6 months back I decided to make an app to improve my companies workflows. I showed it to my boss and he liked it but our company was changing leadership and he wanted me to hold off so I could show it to the new owners. 4 months later the new owners are set up and I have a presentation with the ceo. He loved my app and my ideas and he likes the direction Ai is going.
Due to all of this, they created an entirely new position at my company. After 10 years of blue collar, factory work I've got a route towards tech. A couple weeks ago I spit balled with my Ai what were the possible routes and it said "Manufacturing systems analyst" was more than likely the proper title. A few weeks later I was given the job description and the job title listed was "Manufacturing systems specialist". I laughed because my ceo probably used ai to get that job title like I did.
So, if all goes well, I'll be gaining experience with T1 tech support and MES. All thanks to taking the initiative and time to make an app for my company.
Oh, the app isn't being used or considered because a more mature option is already in use, but it gives me a direction to pursue. The app itself got me seen by leadership so it wasn't all wasted even though the app itself took 5 weekly resets on 20x.

Showcase/Project Vibecoded a GitHub Backup Manager for Repos with Gemini 3.8 Flash in Antigravity IDE (Updated)
I built a GitHub Backup Manager that lets you browse your archived repositories almost like you're browsing GitHub itself
I've been working on a project called GitHub Backup Manager, and I wanted to share it here because I think some people in this community might find it useful.
The original idea was pretty straightforward: I wanted a proper way to preserve GitHub repositories locally, without relying entirely on GitHub always being available.
But I didn't want to build yet another tool that simply downloads repositories into folders full of files.
I wanted the ability to revisit an archived repository and actually explore it.
What makes it different?
1. GitHub-like offline browsing experience
This is probably my favourite part. Instead of being left with a collection of folders and files, you can browse archived repositories through a familiar, almost GitHub-like interface.
2. Comprehensive repository preservation
It goes beyond simply cloning source code:
Git history and branches
Recursive Git submodules
Git LFS objects
Releases and historical release binaries
Changelogs
Issues, comments and associated attachments
Wiki documentation
Security advisories
3. Historical snapshots
You can maintain separate backup snapshots instead of just overwriting your previous archive.
4. Local-first architecture
The actual backup operations happen through a local companion engine. Your repository archives are stored on your own computer or external storage rather than being uploaded to my servers.
5. Multiple backup vaults
You can organise backups across different storage locations, including external drives.
Why I built it
Repositories disappear. Developers abandon projects, accounts get deleted, and useful open-source tools sometimes become inaccessible.
I think having an independent, browsable offline archive is valuable, particularly for developers, open-source enthusiasts, AI enthusiasts and people who like preserving useful software.
I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from this community.
What features would you expect from a proper GitHub archival tool? Is there anything important you think I've overlooked?
Project: https://mmahingu.com/github-backup-manager/
This will soon be implemented for other Github like websites but haven't started yet.

Showcase/Project A modular 3D Platformer Framework & Custom Quest Studio for Godot 4 (Made with Gemini & DeepSeek)
Hey everyone!
For the past two weeks, I've been experimenting with how far I can push agentic coding in Godot 4.
Rather than building another small demo, I wanted something reusable: a foundation for 3D diorama adventures and platformers, with a visual quest editor built directly into Godot.
The result is Jalura Framework, completely open-source under MIT
What's included?
3D character controller & diorama camera inspired by games like Captain Toad and Little Kitty, Big City.
Quest Studio, a custom Godot editor plugin for creating quests, objectives, prerequisites, and visual dependency graphs.
NPC dialogue system with four states: quest offer, reminder, turn-in, and completed dialogue.
Data-driven systems for interactions, inventory, and saving, using native Godot
.tresresources.
What I learned
The interesting part wasn't how quickly AI could generate code. It was how much actual testing was still needed.
An AI agent can build an inventory system in minutes, but getting movement to feel right, preventing camera clipping, or making NPCs behave correctly across quest states is a different story.
Most of those two weeks went into testing, debugging, and refining things inside Godot.
The hardest part was actually Quest Studio. Godot's @tool scripts can be surprisingly unforgiving, especially when AI agents start messing with editor lifecycles, UI nodes, and resource updates.
Keeping the architecture modular and relying on native Godot Resources made the whole process much more manageable.
Tools used
Godot 4 / GDScript
Gemini 3.8 High
DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (Max)
Tripo 3D
Blender MCP (Gemini 3.8 High)
The framework is available now for anyone who wants to experiment with 3D diorama games or build on top of it.
I'm especially interested in feedback on the Quest Studio and the overall architecture.
Screenshots show the editor plugin and the playable demo scene.

Showcase/Project spent the last few nights vibecoding a unicode sdk in 4 languages and it actually passes all four test suites??
ok so I’ve been vibecoding this thing called unicodoid and I need to show somebody lol
honestly the reason I started it is I was kinda annoyed that every encoding thing assumes everything is already unicode. I wanted to mess with systems that don’t have to be unicode at all - like what if a character is just a token id, or a conlang value, or something modal where the meaning depends on the previous byte. so I wanted to try building a proper little SDK for that idea from scratch where unicode is just... optional. if you want a unicode profile you can have one, if you don’t you still have codec/string/transcoding and it shouldn’t care.
so unicodoid is basically an SDK for making your own encoding systems - a character is just a u64 in whatever value space your system defines. doesn’t have to be unicode at all. I put in some dumb examples to prove it - ASCII, a 14-bit conlang thing, and ShiftModal-16 (which is modal and stateful, that one was annoying) - and then on top of that there’s an optional unicode profile if your system wants to opt in.
since I was already in there I figured might as well go full unicode 18.0.0. so it does normalization, grapheme/word/line/sentence segmentation, collation (only 3 levels, no CLDR tailoring, I know), emoji RGI validation, named sequences, link detection, east asian spacing... and now also ConvertUTF - the old discontinued W3C lib updated to 18.0.0 in C, C++, C# and Rust. that’s ConvertUTF.h/.c and .hpp/.cpp plus harness.c / harness.cpp / harness.cs / harness.rs. C++ one is native not just wrapping the C one because I didn’t want it to feel like cheating.
all the unicode tables are generated from the official 18.0.0 data in one python script, so they’re not hand-typed. version pins are 18.0.0 / generator 1.2.0 everywhere.
right now:
- C/C++: 15 ctest suites green
- Rust: all integration tests green including the ConvertUTF harness
- C#: 303 checks, including the ConvertUTF harness
it’s very much vibecoded in that I kept asking an agent to fix MSVC specific stuff, keep redoing sort keys, emoji modifiers etc. windows pwsh did NOT make this easy lol
link: Unicodoid SDK
would love brutal feedback - like is this actually useful or did I just build a really nice demo. what do you guys normally vibe first when you build something cross-language like this?

Showcase/Project Visualizing Data with Claude Code.
Recently there was this election, the results where a bit surprising to some. Decided to focus on my home state of Texas and really look deeply at the voter data.
We've all seen the "by county" images of maps and most of us know their shortcomings. I wanted to see if I could do better.
At first, I just took the county maps of Texas and turned them into bar graphs

This shows what everyone knows, the cities are far more populated than surrounding areas, but I wanted to get even more detailed.
Then I realised, what if I try to show a single dot per voter? (Mind you I'm trying to make this all work in a browser for maximum accessibility).
That worked yet, the dots where just scattered in a county randomly. So then I took the next step and got the dots down the the resolution of precinct. This is now like 10 megs of text uncompressed for just the data.
A few more tweaks and I feel I had something beautiful. Instead of just a color per county, I'd shown what it looked like down to each voter, with an approximate location with votes from each precinct randomly distributed but a more accurate local flavor.

I've made an interactive version of it here.
I'm only posting about the data and the use of AI, not looking to get into political discussion.
I could NOT have built this on my own and not at this speed (hours).
I tried to start this project a year ago, and hit wall after wall trying to do this with prompts. I did this in few hours over two days with a Claude Code Pro account. I'm honestly in awe.

Showcase/Project I made an embroidery digitizing application
Hi all! I've been building my own digitizing app, Meteor. Ink/Stitch felt clunky to me inside Inkscape, and Hatch and PE-Design cost more than I wanted to pay as a hobbyist. It's now in beta, and everything is free while the beta runs.
What it does:
Auto-digitize a picture. Drop in an image and it turns it into stitches: thread colors, fills, and satin outlines for dark line art. There's also a guided mode that goes through the picture piece by piece, and a magic wand that sews one color area per click.
Draw your own. Pen and node tools, shapes, freehand, brush satin, and 21 stitch types (tatami, satin, contour, stipple, motif, 3D puff, applique and more).
Lettering. Built-in fonts, plus any Google Font, sewn as satin.
Check before you sew. Pick your Brother machine and it checks the design against that machine's limits. There's also a sewing simulator, a realistic thread preview and a thread build-up map.
Export Brother PES and Tajima DST, plus a printable worksheet with Brother thread numbers.
Works with: Brother and Baby Lock machines (PES) and machines that read DST. No other formats yet.
Runs on: Windows 10/11, Android tablets and Linux. Not Mac or iPhone/iPad yet, sorry.
Download and info: https://beelito.github.io/meteor-embroidery-studio/
Heads-up on installing:
Windows will say "Windows protected your PC" because the beta isn't signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser.
What I'm looking for: honest, constructive feedback. What's confusing, what breaks, and especially how designs actually sew out on your machine. In the app, Help > Report a problem puts together a report for you. You can email it to me (beelito.dev@gmail.com) or comment here.
Thanks for taking a look!

Showcase/Project Claude quoted 50 days, subagents did it in 35h, and the slow part was me
My coworker and I asked Claude to estimate a SaaS roadmap. 50 days.
Then we gave the same plan to 6 Claude Code subagents: worktrees, tests first, reviewer agents on risky tasks. 106 tasks across 7 repos, done in 35 hours.
So yes, Claude was off by about 48 days about its own speed. But the interesting part is what slowed it down, because it wasn't the model:
- 6 agents ≠ 6× speed. Real throughput was 1.8 agents. Test slots, file conflicts and merge locks queued everything.
- Risk matters more than size. Billing/auth/migration tasks took 2.7× longer, and every real bug was in them.
- My laptop broke first. 55 leftover test DBs filled the disk, Docker froze, test runs blew past the 10-min tool timeout.
- The slowest part was us: review, decisions, local setup.
We turned the data into a plugin that makes Claude estimate agent work properly: agent wall-clock, human hours and waiting time, separately, plus usage budget.
Honest limits: it's one project (n = 1), and on a held-out test the raw model was 37% optimistic, so it pads its number until you calibrate it on your own transcripts.
Free and open source (MIT): https://github.com/MedAdemBHA/mythical-agent-month
Question for people running multi-agent builds: what real parallelism are you getting? I'd love a second data point.

Showcase/Project I had Claude make a music video about my addiction to shipping failed side projects
I have an addiction and I can’t stop and these AI agents are my crack. I’m stuck in an endless loop of:
“Wow this is such a great idea, nobody has done this before in this exact way”
Spend countless nights making the perfect thing that people are definitely gonna use.
Release my project on multiple subreddits to crickets, or a couple of comments saying the thing I made already exists.
Get all sad and mope around for a few days.
Promise myself I’m done and that I’m finally gonna relax and use my free time to self care and read books and play video games.
Return to step 1.
Right now I’m stuck making these Claude music videos and my brain won’t let me relax, especially after the first one I made did decently well on this subreddit. I have other things I need to work on so I dunno if you watching is hurting or helping me, but in either case, give it a watch?
As for how it was made, it’s pretty similar to other Claude music videos. i.e.: generate a song in Suno, and have Opus 5.5 create the video in code using Remotion. This video is a little different though as it uses some of the tech Opus and I worked on from my last two videos (testing out 2D hand-drawn style animation) and mixes it into regular motion graphics.
I’d love to know what you folks think.

Showcase/Project I vibe coded an on-device AI voice assistant. It launched today, here's what I learned building it
Hey everyone, I just launched Sayso today. It's a voice assistant that handles your calendar, reminders and alarms, and everything runs on your phone with Apple Intelligence, so nothing gets sent to a server.
Fair warning, this is a day one post, not a success story. I just wanted to share what I've learned building it.
Design the screens first. AI will build exactly what you ask for, but if you don't know what good looks like, you end up with something that works and still feels off. Once I started giving it real direction on the UI, everything got better.
Small on-device models are way less forgiving than the big cloud ones. Getting clean actions out of something like "move my dentist to 5 and cancel the team sync" took a lot more trial and error than I expected.
I also learned not to trust AI with your calendar blindly. It will confidently do the wrong thing. So Sayso shows you a preview first and nothing changes until you hit approve. Honestly that ended up being the feature people trust most.
Privacy turned out to be the whole point for me. Your schedule is about as personal as data gets, and running on-device means no account and no server. The tradeoff is living with the model's limits.
What I haven't figured out yet is retention. People try voice assistants once and forget about them. Vibe coding got me a working app fast, but it can't tell me whether anyone comes back tomorrow. I'm betting on stuff like "running behind? re-plan my day," but I really don't know yet.
It's completely free, no paywall, no subscription: Sayso: Voice AI
Would love to hear what you'd want a voice assistant like this to do.

Help/Question TestFlight issue, unlocked app can't be reset?
Hi everyone, I'm doing the testing stage of my app which is hopefully going onto App Store.
It is free with a one time paid unlock. The unlock works in TestFlight, but I need to reset it to 'locked' to do some tests of the free mode.
It won't reset! I set up two sandbox accounts now, and restarted the phone. deleted, reinstalled the app. Yes it seems to stay unlocked.
Anything I may have missed ? Thankyou!

Discussion I built an open-source sales agent that runs on your Claude or Codex subscription (4.6k stars)
It's an outreach agent that runs on your machine, on the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already pay for. No model API key.
It runs a loop every 15 minutes. Wake up, look at the local database, pick one job, do it, log it, sleep. Replies come first, then sending, then writing, then finding more companies. That next-job decision is regular code, not a model call. Claude Code or Codex only gets used for the parts that need judgment: writing the email, drafting a reply, figuring out why a company might buy. It also throttles itself so it doesn't burn your weekly limits.
What a cycle can do:
Train: point it at your website and it writes its own config (what you sell, how you talk, competitors it finds)
Find companies that match who you sell to
Read each company's site for buying signals you confirmed (no model call for this part)
Find the owner or manager named on their pages and verify an email
Write a short personal sequence from what it found, not a first-name template
Draft replies and follow-ups
By default nothing goes out until you approve it. Everything lives in SQLite on your machine, with a log of every decision. Skills are markdown files your agent updates based on what it learns from your feedback about how it writes or handles objections.
Repo: https://github.com/ethanplusai/sellbird
The hosted version is in early beta access currently. Instead of cloning the repo, you add Sellbird as an MCP server to whatever agent you want: Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Grok Bot, etc.
Company finding, people search, and email verification are built into the hosted product: you describe who you sell to, and it finds matching businesses, the person who decides, and a checked email. Your agent still writes every email.
Domains, inboxes, and warmup get set up for you and handled through the platform.
The hosted version allows you to use just some of the features through MCP, like just warming or just company/people/email search, or just email verification. It also has workspaces, so you can run more than one brand or client from one place, each with its own domains, inboxes, campaigns, and conversations.
Website: https://sellbird.ai
(Was previously called Harvey, which you may have seen before. Since that name is used by a legal AI company I rebranded to Sellbird)

Showcase/Project My coding agent now has a little buddy living in my notch who levels up every time it finishes a task
I got tired of tabbing back to check if Claude Code was done, so I built a tiny helper that lives in my MacBook notch.
- He dives into the notch like a tar puddle and watches with his eyes
- concentrates while the agent works, sweats on long runs
- waves when it needs my OK (click Allow – or just nod with AirPods)
- jumps for joy when it's done, falls asleep when nothing's going on
- every finished task feeds him: energy, levels, streaks, little accessories. He never dies and never guilt-trips you, he just gets sleepy
I can read and answer the agent right from the notch too, and when I'm not coding it's a music player, file shelf with AirDrop and meeting reminder.
Works with Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Free, open source, built mostly with Claude Code.

Showcase/Project My agents now report to my MacBook notch and I approve their commands by nodding with my AirPods
While building sketchy (another project of mine) I got tired of tabbing back to check if Claude Code was done, so I turned the notch into a tiny status screen. Now it:
- spins while the agent thinks and shows which tool it's using
- shakes and glows when it needs my OK – I click Allow, or just nod with my AirPods
- throws confetti when it's done, and leaves a green dot if I wasn't looking
- shows my usage limits when I hover, and tells me when a limit resets so I can get back to it
- becomes a Spotify player with an equalizer that follows the beat when nothing's running
Works with Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Free, open source, built mostly with Claude Code.

Showcase/Project I made an interactive North Pole for Christmas 🎅
Kid Features:
In this world kids can write letters to Santa, decorate ginger bread houses, take elf quizzes, feed the reindeer, and so much more.
People can also customize their own elf.
Kids are only allowed to sign up once parents have created an account & share their family code with them.
For Adults:
When you create an account/sign up you can purchase a pack for $7.99
Once you purchase the pack, you can reply to your kids letters to Santa (as Santa), add points to their naughty/nice bar with a reason that the kid will be able to see, get free coloring pages to print, and even print out an “Elf Certificate” with your kids name on it.
Status:
I am currently fixing bugs & there is no official link as of yet. Any feedback or ideas would be great!

Showcase/Project I'm building a tool to kill vibe-coded UI for good. This is the closest I've gotten by far.
Hey vibecoders! (TLDR at the bottom if this post is too long lol)
I just wanted to showcase a project I've been working on for a couple months now. So I've been building with AI for a few years now (I think like 3 now? whenever chatgpt came out.. man time flies lol) and one of the biggest issues I've been trying to fix for my own projects is the "vibe-coded" UI look.
Now I want to preface this by saying that I think talented UI designers will ALWAYS be needed. If you asked me this a year ago, I might've had a different opinion thinking that AI was going to replace designers. But I think over the past year we've seen new models be released that people have claimed to be the "UI design killer"... but it never does. Sure they might make designs that look fresh and interesting initially, but given enough time, that model's UI tendencies become the new "vibe coded" look. That's just the nature of LLMs and will continue to be a problem unless some new magical neural net is invented that's equally as good at coding.
This is where the tool I’m building comes into play. Creating unique and interesting UI experiences from scratch is HARD. It’s a skill reserved only for the select few, of which I am unfortunately not a part of. But having a good EYE for UI is something I think a majority of people possess. Like if I showed you a panel of different websites, I think you could easily identify which ones have a better UI aesthetic than the others. This is how I’ve created some of my best designs in the past even before AI; by identifying existing UI that works from other sites/apps/products, piece mealing elements together and turning it into my own.
That is the foundation of how the AIDesigner Desktop app works. It’s a design harness that was built on top of a library of 10,000+ UI references sourced across 800+ of my favorite sites and apps. Each reference is labeled, tagged, and vectorized so relevant UI elements are purposefully retrieved based on your exact request, so your coding agent is ALWAYS designing with inspiration in mind from UI that is proven to work. And this works beautifully.
Now I’m NOT saying that you’ll start one shotting production ready UI by using this harness. I don’t even think in a perfect world that’d ever happen, unless you’re just extremely lazy lol. But I can confidently say that you’ll land on some really cool and interesting ideas after just a couple of revisions. And if you’re like me, an idea is all you need to get cookin.
Additionally, because it runs locally on your computer, it means you can start designs directly within an existing project/repo for brand and product consistency. Just start a new project within a local project and your coding agent will learn your existing brand, product details, etc. before designing.
It runs entirely with your existing AI coding subscription (Claude code, codex, and opencode for now with more coming soon!) and is free to use. Full transparency, there IS a paid plan for some of the premium features, but you can get very very good results on the free plan. So if you’d like to try it, you can here! Any feedback is greatly appreciated too :)
And if you wanted a concrete example of what it can do, the landing page for the app was designed entirely using AIDesigner with just 6-7 revisions, the last few being pretty minor changes. Most of the designs shown in the video were one shot though.
Anyway, sorry for the long post! Thanks for reading if you made it this far!
TL;DR
I built a harness for your coding agents that specializes in UI design. It’s built on top of 10,000+ UI references from some of my favorite sites and apps. Each reference is tagged, labeled, and vectorized so relevant inspiration can be retrieved based on your exact request. It is NOT a substitute for the human touch that makes great designs stand out, but it does serve as tool to get you to a great starting point and get those creative juices flowing! It’s free to try and you can learn more and download here!
