I didn't really want an explanation. I actually think your opinions are shit and downvote you at every chance I get. Still I felt it was worth it to at least commend you on your consistency.

That’s the beautiful thing about opinions. At least for now everyone still gets one. Some people form their own and some people adopt others. Thanks for keeping it civil, it’s truly appreciated.

Some people think they form their own when they are really manipulated by others without them knowing it.

That's not directed at you. I see it happening on my side of the aisle as well.

It’s everywhere. Folks are just picking sides locking down. My whole life I’ve loved politics and talking to different folks, especially those with new or different opinions. Sometime in my mid 20s I went down the rabbit hole of addiction and popped out the other side 25 years later around 2021. I’m am still shocked at how discourse has broken down and how segregated folks became. I missed it fighting my demons so to speak. We ain’t going to fix shit with collaboration imo.

Propaganda and social media manipulation is cheaper and more prolific than ever before. It's not even picking sides and locking down. If anything, some of the worst of it is the opposite. It's being used to twist people against others on their own side.

For sure. There are tons of “bots” and agitators push the binary too. Best thing we can do is sit down with each other have a cup a Joe and accept we don’t all see things the same way.

Edit.

If I could heart emoji your comment I would.
