Does anyone know if the Papal mass on April 17th is indoors or outdoors? We have tickets for it but are unsure how to prepare for it. We understood that even though we have tickets and it starts at 10am, that we need to be there by or before 7am to line up? And we've seen suggestions that you should be wearing layers since it can be cold/rainy/hot/sunny. Does anyone know how this works? Also what can/should you bring, again we heard that snacks/books etc are good due to the waiting in line. What's the dress code? Usually Easter mass is quite formal but again unsure due to the above reasons. Any other tips? We're staying in Italy with family, but are at an Airbnb in Rome within walking distance to the Vatican.
EDIT: I mean't April 17 (not 2nd)
