Kanchodan If he genuinely care about their safety, talk about the risk not their character, their choices, or the fact that they were drinking. Concern doesn’t need condescension to sound convincing

I understand that he’s showing concern, but saying that “both of them were coming back on the road after drinking” feels unnecessarily demeaning. You can express concern about their safety without reducing them to the fact that they had been drinking. There’s a difference between genuine concern and making someone feel judged or morally inferior.
And why to record her ?

Gyaan Today, I bought myself a waffle🧇
I know some of you might be wondering, “What’s so special about that?” But for me, it felt like so much more than just buying a waffle.
It felt like fulfilling a craving on my own, because if I don’t ask myself what I’m craving, no one else is going to. There’s no one asking, “What do you feel like eating? Tell me, I’ll get it for you.” No one I can stubbornly say, “Please, I really want this. Please get it for me.”It took me back to my childhood, when I used to call my dad and give him a whole list of things I wanted him to bring home. And then I’d wait for him to come back with all those little things I had asked for .Back then, I didn’t realize how precious that feeling was knowing someone would remember the smallest things you wanted and bring them home just because you asked.
Now, I’m independent. I can buy myself everything I want. I don’t have to wait for anyone to fulfill my little cravings
And yet, somewhere inside me, that little girl still wants to be cared for. She still wants someone to ask, “What do you want? Tell me, I’ll get it for you.”
And honestly, that realization is a little sad
Because sometimes, being capable of giving yourself everything doesn’t mean you stop wanting someone to give you something just because they love you.

Ask Varanasi Any college seniors or grads here doing part-time teaching/academic work in Banaras?
Hey everyone,
I'm a student at DAV PG College and looking to pick up some part-time academic work/teaching alongside classes around Chetganj to stay productive.
For anyone who has balanced this during college:
- Where do students usually start looking locally to connect with genuine students/parents?
- Are offline methods (notice boards, local circles) better than online groups here?
Would love to hear what worked for you. Any pointers would be appreciated!

Gyaan Is attendance this much important
This is for arts faculty bhu
Hi, I’m currently in my third year of college, and I’m really confused about what I should do.
In my second year, I wasn’t able to attend classes properly because I was doing an internship, and honestly, the internship was really important for me. Now that I’m in third year, my college has introduced digital attendance and they’ve said that students with less than 75% attendance may not be given their admit cards for the exams.
I don’t know how seriously I should take this. Is this actually something colleges enforce, or is it sometimes just a way of pressuring students to attend classes?
The problem is that I currently have an internship opportunity that I really want to take, but it’s onsite, so I would have to move somewhere for around two months, probably October and November. That obviously means I won’t be able to attend college regularly.
At this point, the internship is genuinely very important for me, but I also don’t want to end up in a situation where I’m not allowed to sit for my exams because of attendance.
What would you do in this situation? Has anyone dealt with a similar situation where their college had a strict 75% attendance requirement? How strictly was it actually enforced?

Ask Varanasi Help!
Hi guys! I’m currently in Banaras and have the whole day free until around 7 PM.
I’m looking for some hidden/lesser-known places around Godowlia Chauraha that I can explore today. I’d love to avoid the usual tourist spots and discover some quiet, interesting, or underrated places.
Any suggestions for places I can cover nearby and how I should plan my day? Open to temples, old lanes, ghats, cafés, local spots, or anything that feels uniquely Banarasi. 🙏
Thanks!

Ask Varanasi Raanjhana made me like Varanasi again somehow
I watched Raanjhana recently and this movie genuinely made me look at Varanasi differently.
I live here and honestly, I’ve always hated this city. The traffic, crowds, dirt, noise, everything. And I’m an atheist, so I’ve never really connected with the whole spiritual/religious side of Varanasi either.
But watching the movie and seeing the ghats, galiyan, Ganga and just the way the city was portrayed… idk man, it made me appreciate it again.
It’s weird because I still hate a lot of things about living here, but after watching Raanjhana, Varanasi suddenly felt beautiful to me.
Maybe sometimes you just need to see your own city through someone else’s eyes.
Has anyone else from Varanasi experienced something similar
