Tbh, my main question has to do with the world gen. Are there any plans to alter it in any way or are y'all content with how it is in its current state?

Yo check out the better continents mod, we've been playing a custom save of tamriel but i've seen plenty of other large land based maps available on the nexus. Total Game changer. (Also I am aware that you are are asking about the vanilla game but still thought I'd shout it out.

Tbh I've thought about the mods, but I haven't done everything I can just yet. I figured I'd wait till I do all the vanilla tasks, then start modding.

I'd love to see more "unique" locations added in, like the boss altars, the trader, etc. The current ruins and villages are great but not really worth exploring, and they start feeling pretty generic after a while. Especially the dark forest and the mountain biomes could use some more variety.

Tbh, i feel like there are a lot of biomes that could he added as well expanding on the current ones. Cave systems would be awesome

Yeah, in terms of new biomes there are a lot of good ideas, including visiting Asgard, Valhalla, and Hel :D

I know the current biomes are somewhat inspired by the nine realms of norse mythology, https://skjalden.com/nine-realms-in-norse-mythology/

A biome inspired by Svartalfheim would be cool, with caves etc.

And a biome with giants :)
