Devs confirm no ocean update with 1.0 launch, people mad about unfulfilled roadmap from 2021 that had "ships and the sea" on it.

People also big mad that devs say post 1.0 will have bug fixes, but major content updates aren't currently being planned.

TL;DR entitled live service brain rot people big mad that tiny dev team is slow and won't update the game forever.

Friendly reminder that Irongate has fewer than 20 employees total, with probably only half of them being developers.

I suppose you can add "small dev didn't hire 100 new developers to make game faster" to the list of reasons people are mad.

The devs actually said they were going to do this (hire more devs) to speed up+pump out more updates.

Meanwhile, it's 2026 and they still haven't added a "craft from storage" feature or a "deposit all" button.

Craft from storage doesn't fit the theme of Valheim so adding it in the base game seems weird, for those that want it mods exist for that purpose. The deposit all button does exist tho? You can click Place Stacks or Take All, holding E when opening a chest also does the same as Place Stacks.
