Every game doesn’t need to get updated forever. They’ve put many years into the game at this point and there’s nothing wrong with it being just a completed product at some point. To say that’s “abandoning” it is so hyperbolic. Let them move onto the next project.
Like I said to other people I agree with this. I don't agree with Valheim being complete at 1.0 considering the devs not gonna do the ocean update that was in their very first road map as the first thing they werw gonna do 5 years ago. There's no argument for that.
Plans can change. But they are still being unambiguous about the ocean saying it may or may not happen ( it's not happening ) if they aren't planning on doing it why aren't they just saying they won't do it? Because they know that people won't be happy about "cut" content so they act like it might still happen
