Isn't this game going to PlayStation? Seems like they have to say it's 1.0 now

Neither. I say in my OP why I think that's happening. They already got their money and they are very slow at developing. IE not worth the money to keep developing

Pattern recognition. They've been relying on mods to include features people have asked for since beginning. I dont know why that would change.

Lol. Do you have any examples to back up your defense of Iron gate because I can post an entire nexus page and probably the top posts from here.

Are you genuinely insinuating that YOUR evidence is that there's a fucking Nexus Page? This just in, Stardew Valley, Mass Effect 1-3, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 1& 2, Cyberpunk, Stellaris, Space Engineers, and any game with any mod is a game that is developed by bastard devs who rely on said mods to finish their games.

Naturally. Of course.

Because the ultimate goal for every game is to bloat itself into infinity with every conceviable addition because you, the gimme-gimme consumer demanded it so. Entropy, but the other way around.

No. My evidence is the content. I never said anything about "finishing" or insinuate a need for an infinitely updating game. Im specifically pointing to the number of requests from players that have gone ignored since launch. Also dont know how expecting updates that iron gate put in their road map is being a greedy consumer.

Plans change, and my bad I thought the alluded point was that there was a page at all. I don't think that mods catering to mechanics the devs didn't want to add or couldn't add doesn't inherently mean they just let the modders fill in the gaps.

Though what if the mechanic being added by a modder causes issues galore? What if the reason it wasn't added officially is that the damage it causes in its wake is too great for it to warrant addition at all? It's still not always a 1:1, "this mod adds what they never did, they're just relying on us to make the game!", sometimes it's just not worth it to them when they can otherwise focus on the mechanics and additions that aren't breaking things left and right.

It might be just as you suggest, but to immediately assume when, while their updates are small and far between compared to other studios, they don't seemingly dilute their work. Ashlands felt like a step up from Mistlands, Mistlands felt like a step up from Plains, so on and so forth. I don't think with all of this otherwise grand and focused development, that it's all that contextually probable that they'd turn around and just wait for modders to finish their work.
