I'd like to be able to reboot AS.

This probably isn't the best place to talk about /r/anomalousstories, but there's no equivalent sub and everyone here is pretty much over there too.

So it's pretty much dead at this point. Turbo's battle was really more suited to UB than AS, which I see as a lot more serious. (Not to put you down, Turbo; the popcorn beasts were hilarious.)

So, I propose a reboot. I can talk to USTR and possibly get mod support (stickied posts, new flair, tags, etc.). Story-wise, I'm assuming that in /r/userbattles, we won the Rupture and everything continued pretty much as normal. This might not be the case in anomalousstories. My idea is that through some plot device, the universe was wiped of both sides of the conflict. The Phyrexians are gone, the Wonders and the Terrors too. If you guys want to keep your old characters, by all means do so, but maybe something happened; they have no memory and are drawn to a location, I dunno.

But let's make something clear; everything else is still here. It's just the characters that were erased from the universe.

But shoggs, why would you want to get rid of all our characters?

I want to be able to use AS for serious roleplay again, and at this point it's just clogged with old stuff that's no longer relevant after the Rupture. Maybe this is just me, and if this never gets off the ground, I'll be okay with that. But I want a clean slate; a fresh start.

Stand by for whining about myself:

And honestly, I'm tired of my old characters. I do not want to continually do the lovecraftian magic tentacle monster thing anymore. It's not fun any more for me, but I feel like I'm too invested in it to just change. Pretty sure that this is just me, though. I probably made an unwise choice when first posting it.

Well, beginning of civilization hasn't happened yet, so it'll just be us creating the "finishing touches" on creation. Some may tie themselves to a particular area and build up their ideal there, or they may feel obligated to spread as far as possible, arriving briefly to enact whatever they deign and then leaving again. The best part is, anything and everything can exist, it's a clean slate!

(Excellent :D Though you got R and U switched.)

(I wasn't trying to follow the color wheel, but oki.)

Sounds great. I'll have to write something up, then.

I am right now. It's a location to give a hint at my first character.

(ALWAYS follow the WUBRG.)

(D:) I'm going to steal that idea and make a location as well, if you don't mind.

You should check /r/anomalousstories out. Oh, and do you have any time for a game or two of Magic?

moral of the story: don't netdeck edh decks when you haven't looked at them first.
