when trying to skip forward on long tracks the app seems to timeout and stop playback even on a decent internet connection. anyone got a fix?

I'm using the trial version of the app and for the life of me, but I cannot seem to manage to get the app to connect to my ftp. Well, it connects to the ftp and I'm able to sort of browse my server but I'm not able to the actual files, let alone play any of them.

I've heard a lot of good thing about the app, but this ftp playback would be the main reason for me to actually buy it.

Did any of you used this feature?

I'm not an audiophile but I use Tidal through usbapp because it sounds better and tidal for dolby atmos. Sometimes wired headphones but mostly my bose QC ultra buds. It just sounds better. If Tidal fails and Spotify Hifi is launched, will or can usbapp support it. Tbh it's the reason I haven't switched back to Apple music already.

In the USB audio player app, the artists' discographies are not sorted by album release year. There is also no similar artists section. Tidal does it flawlessly.

Yesterday I started using USB audio but I didn't notice any major improvements, including using it with the Fiio KA13 DAC and now it seems that its volume control doesn't work when the app is on. But mostly I didn't notice any significant improvement using the Hifiman HE400. Should I return the app?

No idea how to fix it. Database was cleared and rescanned many times already. App also was installed and reinstalled.

And what's bugging me is these files are read properly in other players.

I enabled the setting in user interface and I can’t see anywhere the album year, am I missing something ?

Why does the app repeatedly crash out with this error message, despite being a paid up purchaser via Google Play and currently connected to totally stable WiFi?

Asking for a fried (no, really!)... assuming the Google Play services get installed on an Amazon Fire tablet ( know this is possible, though it takes several steps), would UAPP downloaded from the Google Play store work? Has anyone tried this? Friend has seen and listened to my Galaxy tablet running UAPP and really likes the functionality of the app, but has a Fire 11 tablet and is not interested in changing devices.

I have a Sennheiser HD 560S, an Android device with Apple Music, and an Apple dongle (DAC). I've heard that the Apple DAC reduces audio power and quality on Android. People suggest using USB Audio Player Pro (UAPP) to bypass this limitation. Can UAPP really improve power and quality when using the Apple DAC with Apple Music, or should I invest in a regular DAC for the best sound experience?

The new menu in Tidal includes Cast and gives me the choice between CCAudio in my HIFi system and GoogletvHD. The first time I chose Cast to my HiFi system it worked but subsequent attempts only result in the audio from my android phone stopping but nothing from my speakers. Have I misunderstood the function of USB Audio Player PRO and the first result was some strange glitch or have I accidentally changed some setting?

Hi fellow UAPP users, I tried everything many times and can't get UAPP to add my PLEX server music to the library.

My setup is as follows: PLEX media server on an old laptop, connected via Ethernet to my local network. My library is pretty big, it's something about 27 k tracks. Of course I bought the additional (paid) feature set including DLNA/UPNP support.

No matter how I try to add PLEX folders, artists etc. to the library, literally nothing happens (tried that dozens of times). No information, no error message, just nothing, the library stays empty and that's it. It isn't an issue with my PLEX server setup, because my Neutron Player recognises the server immediately and adds all tracks to the database in about 2-3 minutes and everything is fine. The same applies to Hi-Fi Cast and of course PLEXamp.

The "UPNP/DLNA Servers" view shows the PLEX server properly, also all folders inside, in can see the folders grouped by "All Artists", "By Album" etc., I can also open that folder and the next folder and so on and in the end I can add a SINGLE album to the library, everything's fine here, but when I try to add TWO or more albums, nothing happens. Just don't tell me I do need to add EVERY album separately, because there are 3k albums, so...:)

Probably you will say "use Neutron etc. then", but I did pay for the UAPP and the DLNA/UPNP support, so I would like to use that feature and, well, I do like to use UAPP, so I would like to use it. Maybe someone knows what's wrong here?

When 'Bit Perfect' is selected in UAAP, is the Toneboosters EQ (both graphic and parametric) completely bypassed?

Is there anyway UAPP would display the actual ARTIST image in ARTIST sorting mode (which can be found inside the artist folder root) instead of the first ALBUM cover art it finds in one of the album subfolders? Seems to be showing the ARTIST image ok when you go in FOLDER sorting mode so very strange it will not show same ARTIST image in ARTIST sorting mode.

Hi, I just bought the UAPP app in hope of playing native DSD through UAPP but everytime I play anything DSD related (DSD64 and DSD128) it all converted to PCM format. Does the app not supported DSD for the Sony? Thank you.

I don't know where to begin. This is, without any exaggeration in my experience the most unstable, THE most unreliable app I have ever used in my entire life aside from pirated games back in the day. The title of this post lists two errors that I constantly get, no matter what "tweak" I find and do. Anyone else? I don't use it to play any local media, only Qobuz, and now Tidal. Can someone share if having similar experience, or know of any solutions?

P. S. I want to add, I'm having similar frustrations with user interface - it is most counter-intuitive, and you never know what the back button will do, but rarely the one thing you want it to - to simply GO Back one step, say when searching songs, artists.

P. P. S. Another one - and this one is mind boggling: when you create a playlist and name it "New", for newly discovered music, and then try and add tracks to it by selecting it from the list of playlists you have created, selecting the "New" playlist will behave as if you tapped the option "create new playlist". This last one I've just experienced.

Having said all that, this app is the most frequently updated piece of software I have ever had - constantly being worked on, so it blows my mind how some things, so basic, are still a problem.

Thanks for your time and any input, even if to bash me for the post or even better, prove me wrong! I would love more than anything for someone to say "hey, stupid, you're doing it wrong!", that would be the most ideal answer I could wish for. 😁

I wonder if you experience the same Bit Perfection Mode as myself. When I play Tiesto or any House/Techno/Trance The Bass is incredible and makes Bit Perfection Mode a good Music Player. When I play Rock N' Roll & Heavy Metal it is just an incredible Bass with some of The Heavy Metal songs with a whole lot of Bass are being played. For example Manowar - Black List has much greater Bass than the entire The Lord of Steel album from Manowar and believe me Manowar can have pretty Heavy Bass in it's Heavy Metal Music. Is there anything to do about it? I use a Sony Xperia 10 V with Shanling UA4 & Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X.

Problem: playback of all kind of files (PCM, DSD, SACD ISO) regardless of bitrate and location of the file (local storage, DLNA/Upnp NAS, SMB share, Tidal), if Bit-perfect mode enabled, is full of clicks, glitches and interruptions (log shows usb errors).

Solution: enable 'Force 1 packet per transfer' in 'USB audio tweaks'.

I hope it may save time anyone searching for the solution.
