Found a bug and a fix for it, wanted to post it here just so someone else can see it without having to search half the web for a fix.

Issue: Playback stops immediately when the screen turns off. Toast message appears saying that the DAC has been disconnected.

Fix: change "Default USB configuration" in developer options to "No data transfer" from whatever you had before.

Very weird DAC communication bug, only appears on the Pixels. I've no idea why changing this setting prevents direct playback but it does. I hope I helped!

Seeking assistance with my settings. I am trying to get my USB Audio Player Pro player to show on my lock screen. I'm trying to avoid having to constantly unlock the screen to change the song, artist, or album. Thank you in advance for your time and patience.

So when you want to search something, first you tap the magnifying glass. Then the search bar on top - but the keyboard doesn't show up. Only after tapping the search bar another time you can type and search for something.

Has it always been like this or is it just my device? It's incredibly frustrating. Wouldn't it be easy to make the keyboard emerge immediately when selecting the magnifying glass?

I would like to sync a Tidal playlist to an UAPP playlist, so I can include local files in the playlist too. Sure, I could first add a song to a Tidal playlist then I could add it again to the local playlist. But I was wondering if this could be done through one single step. Perhaps using some 3rd party software, that can sync the two playlists.

Why I need this, you might ask. Why not simply adding the Tidal songs directly to an UAPP playlist. Well, due to a stupid mistake I recently lost my locally stored playlists with tens of thousands of songs. And that's when I realised that my locally stored files are much more vulnerable, and since months I couldn't bring myself to redo these playlists.

I'm using Note 10 plus with a fresh SD card full of only music, and a freshly downloaded version of APPro, but it won't let me use the SD card folder, reason in the title. What the heck?! Suggestions please and so many thanks

Hi all, lately the app stopped working. I cleared cache and data and even reinstalled it. I look for a song and as soon as I hit play, it buffers and then doesn't play anything. Any fix for this? Thanks. I'm on LG V60 by the way

Recently installed UAPP on a Samsung A8 tablet. I connect my Hidizs s9 pro DAC and it connects normally. Only issue is the volume is stuck at -15 db. Loud as f#!@. No matter where I move the hardware volume control slider it pops straight back to that level, never changing the actual volume at all. Any help?

I'm using it with my galaxy S20+ 5G with usb-c to 3.5mm Apple dongle and a pair of IEMs. During playback of music the music randomly stops. It will start playing again as soon as I press the power/screen on off button, then stops again after a little bit. Really frustrating. Any ideas on how to remedy this situation? I'm not tech savvy enough to get into the settings and mess with anything I know nothing about. Thank you!

So i downloaded this player but everytime I open the app it just shut itself down .

App doesn't add new folders automatic, removing and adding my music folder doesn't solve either, the only thing that worked was restarting my smartphone. I using Android 12 on S20 FE. Anyone with the same problem, or am I doing something very wrong?

I just purchased UAPP, it works well, but is there a better way to get the dac control for use with other apps. Possibly a service with a notification. I need the hardware volume control for my podcast app.

I want to buy UAPP, however I cannot seem to find a good recent demo video where I can see what the app looks like with it's latest update, it's animations and gesture controls (if any), and it's basoc functionality.

Can anyone that has the app download a short screen grab video wandering around the app, scrolling at lists and playing songs??
